Item #: SCP-4350

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4350 is to be stored in a vanadium 10 x 10 x 10 biological containment chamber. Each wall must be no less than 40cm in thickness, with the exterior covered in a thick Gallium paste. A space of 20 metres must be left between the walls of the inner and outer chamber. Entrance to SCP-4350's containment chamber is protected by a two-way decontamination outpost. Attempts to enclose SCP-4350 in both a standardised and reinforced petri dish have been entirely unsuccessful.

Due to regular attempts at a containment breach, SCP-4350 requires routine check-ups by a trained foundation member [approved by a Level-5 overseer] every 22 hours. Level-3 biohazard protocols are to be incorporated during maintenance periods. Patrolling the exterior walls of the chamber, maintenance staff must observe any deterioration in the gallium paste and immediately reapply no less than 10 grams to the weak spot.

During research scenarios carried out by Level-3 personnel, the researcher is strictly forbidden from coming into physical contact with the anomalous clusters present in the chamber. This remains the case no matter the circumstances [See addendum-4t2].

Maintenance cycles are to be carried out until a method of complete neutralisation is discovered.

Description: SCP-4350 is a highly contagious, pathogenic strain of bacteria known scientifically by its name Multa Vitaeum. Like other pathogens, SCP-4350 is spread through bloodborne, airborne, and waterborne routes. However, its rate of spread is almost 13x faster than that of any recorded bacteria known to the foundation and the greater scientific world. Its rapid and violent spread renders SCP-4350 almost impossible to terminate completely. All instances of termination attempts through: Fire, Acid, and Nuclear Assault, have been unsuccessful.

Upon infecting a host, SCP-4350 will gain control of:

Within the first 4 hours of infection, the host will begin exhibiting a high fever and powerful migraines.
