Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX there are no current containment procedures. Research into determining whether or not SCP-XXXX is a physical location or merely an auditory anomilty is still underway, but thus far has been inconclusive.

Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a sequence of 2█ numbers that when dialed into a phone connects it to a SCP-XXXX-1 instance. A SCP-XXXX-1 is an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) for the “Homosapien Support Line”. When the call is connected, the caller is prompted to input a number corresponding with the service they are seeking. Once dialed, the call either proceeds to next prompt¹ or connects the caller to a SCP-XXXX-2 instance. All SCP SCP-XXXX-2 instances are “Customer Service Agents” of varying sex and age. While number of employed SCP-XXXX-2 instances varies, the average number of employed SCP-XXXX-2 agents is 26 with an average retention rate of 80%. All SCP-XXXX-2 instances are currently organized into a three-tier organizational structure. All calls are initially answered by a tier 1 agent and can be escalated to higher tiers at the discretion of the SCP-XXXX-2 instance².

Any working phone is currently able to connect to SCP-XXXX and it has been noted to connect when no valid phone connection is present. Due to this, any document referring to SCP-XXXX is to be destroyed and standard internet scanning protocols have been implemented to actively suppress public information regarding to SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX-2 instances are normally courteous to the caller unless provoked. All SCP-XXXX-2 instances follow a script regarding answering calls and then prompt the caller to provide a serial number. When the caller is unable to provide a serial number they are then are prompted for a valid government issued identification number, although it is currently unknown how it is able to verify this information. Upon “creating a case”, SCP-XXXX-2 instances then listen to what the caller has to say and then will attempt to provide help regarding any issues they have with an interaction with any currently living human subject(s). Correctly following instructions provided by SCP-XXXX-2 have resulted in numerous anomalous effcts including the alteration of memory, emotions, and physical appearance of the subject(s). How SCP-XXXX is able to cause these effects to happen is currently unknown but it is currently hypothesized to use the caller performing certain actions as “channeling” these effects.
