Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to have at least 5 MTF agents available from Mobile Task Force Mu-4 “Debuggers” at any given time. This is so proper containment procedures can be taken place without the public becoming aware. Mu-4 is to keep watch over the transmitter 24 hours a day to insure that the transmitter does not stop operating, and if it does, to evacuate and alert all other Mobile Task Forces and Foundation Personnel at the neighboring containment area. Task Force Mu-4 are to activate the noise blankers in the SCP’s CZ each evening at 18:00 hours local time and 23:00 hours local time. This is so the radio signals do not reach public radio listeners on shortwave frequencies. (NOTE: Mu-4 operatives rotate the noise blankers frequently, and the times given are the recommended procedures.) During testing, Task Force Mu-4 should be on stand-by for immediate termination of the Class-D personnel if SCP-XXXX-1 emerges.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large radio transmitter located on Auxiliary Area - ██ in [REDACTED], Russia. The radio transmitter is 10 x 14 meters in length and is connected to a coaxial cable which leads to the top of the facility, which then leads to a 60 meter antenna mast. On the radio transmitter, “████” is written in Cyrillic script with the radio transmitter manufacturing details. The radio transmitter is made of solid aluminum casing, which when opened up reveals several regular-looking radio parts (resistors, tubes, crystal oscillators). The internal components of SCP-XXXX are linked to several anomalous locations yet to be located. All attempts to locate these anomalous locations have proven futile. According to a document found at the site of the radio transmitter by Agent ████████, SCP-XXXX was created by GRU Division “P”. The rest of the document was lost due to a data breach recorded in the Records and Information Security Administration.

Testing done on SCP-XXXX has concluded that when the signal is broadcasted and listened to, it causes an unknown neurofunction to occur, causing the individual to experience fierce hallucinations, seizures, and eventually death. In some cases, the individual is taken under control by SCP-XXXX-1, who wants to try and gather information about the Foundation and its purpose. It has been responsible for several data breaches in the Records and Information Security Administration. Testing is limited to only senior research personnel for possible data breaches.

All testing information has been classified by the order of O5-██.

Addendums:

Addendum 10/██/██: The signals have gotten more tolerable, according to recent testing. Further testing is expected over the next few months.

Addendum 06/██/██: By orders of the O5 Council, SCP-XXXX is being given Euclid classification due to its anomalous properties.

Addendum 05/██/██: By orders of the O5 Council, SCP-XXXX is being given Safe classification, as the SCP does not appear to have anomalous properties.
