Item #: SCP-9085
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9085 is to be contained in a 5m x 5m containment cell, lined with lead, with a blast door. Opening the blast door requires Any signs of damage to the cell, or the blast door, is to be immediately reported to Site Command, or Security. If SCP-9085-1 instances is not found in the cell, a Level 2 lockdown is to take effect, until SCP-9085-1 instances are re-contained.
Description: SCP-9085 is an anomalous dimension, with the entrance often taking form of a door or a trapdoor. The entrance to SCP-9085, was originally found at ████████, Canada, █████. Several MTF agents were killed by SCP-9085-1 instances, before they were able to be contained and shipped off to Area-██, where it is currently held. SCP-9085 appears to be a complete replica of Earth, with the physics and atmosphere having no resemblance of Earths own. SCP-9085-1 is the designation given to the inhabitants of the realm. SCP-9085-1 can survive prolonged amounts of time without food, air, water, or energy, and has even been documented to survive the vacuum of space, and radiation. This resistance appears to weaken the more power that their anomalous powers hold. Almost (DATA REDACTED) of the inhabitants feature anomalous properties ranging from minor object manipulation to Reality Bending which can cause XK-Class extinction events. Currently, the anomalous properties only appear to work outside of SCP-9085, and at least 20 meters away from a lead-based material or isotope. Any person not in a 20 meter radius of lead-based materials/isotopes inside of SCP-9085 will suffer from SCP-9085-2. SCP-9085-2 appears to be a disease infecting all those inside SCP-9085, eventually turning them into SCP-9085-1. Some SCP-9085-2 symptoms appear to be:
- Coughing blue blood.
- Skin turning a blue-ish color, and becoming more resistant to damage.
- Fevers.
- Puking.
After these symptoms, the skin turns back to their former color, and appear to gain anomalous powers. Plans to use SCP-9085-1 in MTF units are currently being processed by the O5 council.
The only known way to kill SCP-9085-1 currently known is lining a weapon with lead, then using the weapon on them. Current research onto why lead is the main weakness of SCP-9085, is at an indefinite halt.
