Special Containment Procedures:Due to the vast amount of anomalous objects found within SCP-XXXX, underwater Site-131 has been constructed it. SCP-XXXX is to be under surveillance at all times by a minimum of a fifteen (15) submarines belonging to MTF unit Pi-4. Should any unauthorized personnel approach within five (5) kilometers from SCP-XXXX meteorological weapons are to be activated in order to divert him or her from SCP-XXXX. All anomalous items found inside SCP-XXXX are to be reported and brought to the site director immediately for investigation and experimentation.

Description: SCP 5XXX is the designation for a submerged continent located in the Atlantic ocean (coordinates 40°18'02.9"N 22°15'07.6"W to 10°15'08.3"N 51°04'31.4"W) 8 kilometers deep, presenting a surface area of approximately 9×10⁶ kilometers squared (km²). Documents and textbooks found inside SCP-XXXX indicate it had submerged prior to 100 B.C.

The interior of SCP-XXXX consists of a vast landform, presenting no major variations in its altitude.
SCP-XXXX's mineral density and diversity is extremely vast, containing several undiscovered instances yet to be investigated.

SCP-XXXX presents a large number of modern structures, implying the existence of a resident civilization prior to its submersion, among which include public and private residences, buildings for commercial use, town halls, and mostly, research laboratories. Despite the apparent technology of the civilization inside SCP-XXXX no architectural structures used for medical purposes seem to be present.

SCP-XXXX does not present anomalous properties itself. However, it is the host for a large amount of anomalous objects as well as ordinary modern items. All anomalous objects found inside SCP-XXXX are labeled SCP-XXXX-1 to SCP-XXXX-n.

The most significant discovery found inside SCP-XXXX is a tank filled with an unknown gelatinous substance containing a hominid living being, labeled SCP-XXXX-5. SCP-XXXX-5 presents traits from both Homo sapiens and several Cercopithecidae specimens. SCP-XXXX-5's tank is as of now inacessible. It is heavily theorized that SCP-XXXX-5 is the missing link between hominids and apes. Medical analyses show SCP-XXXX-5 still presents vital signs, and could theoretically be awakened if necessary.
