Item #: SCP-[whatever it will be, hereby labeled as x]
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
In the item’s passive state, the object should be kept in a standard light proof steel safe. Two (2) Three (3) security guards are to be stationed outside of the room SCP-[x] is stationed in, named Code Room Green. Temperature, motion, and light sensors are to be placed within the room, recording temperature, motion, and light levels at all times. The security guards are to be armed with one (1) Glock 19 pistol each two (2) Glock 19 pistols each, and are to execute anyone attempting to enter Code Room Green through any means necessary. If a security guard attempts to enter Code Room Green, any other security guards are to execute the guard attempting to enter Code Room Green.
Bodies are to be incinerated by a body-retrieval team. If the body has fallen, or is located within Code Room Green, the body-retrieval team is to utilize tools to extract the body from Code Room Green. If any members of the body-retrieval team attempt to enter the room, they are to be executed, and their bodies are to be retrieved with the same procedure. No more than 500 people are to enter Site-██-2 at once. Any attempts to enter when maximum capacity is reached will be manually locked out until someone leaves, in order to prevent extensive manifestation of SCP-[x]’s mechanisms.
If the item reaches an active state, Site-██-2 is to be evacuated, and anomaly containment unit Technician-Alpha “Atlas” is to contain all anomalies.
Description: SCP-[x] was discovered buried in a coffin within the body of a decomposing individual by SCP Agent A████ while he was searching for SCP-████, "Dracula". Carbon dating and analysis of the coffin’s structure and composition has led to the conclusion that the body was buried sometime around 1930 AD. Interestingly enough, moisture levels were still present within the corpse, and the body had not fully disintegrated. SCP-[x] in its passive state is an ordinary sphere made of carbon. SCP-[x] has a radius of approximately 1 dm, and weighs approximately 12 kg. It does not appear to be capable of anomalous activity in this state. The process of SCP-[x] entering into its active state is not entirely understood. Upon contact with light, SCP-[x] will transition into its active state. While in its active state, any human contact will result in Event A1
Event A1:
Upon physical contact of object SCP-[x], vital signs cease in the subject, and SCP-[x] becomes a sphere of light, rather than physical particles. Anomalous objects will begin to appear from SCP-[x]. Ejected items may exhibit anomalous properties while exiting the body of the subject, and may lead to further loss of personnel. It is unknown if holding SCP-[x] with material obstructing physical contact would be effective in preventing death.
It is not known how SCP-[x] is capable of transforming into light particles.
Anomalous objects ejected include: SCP-████, SCP-████
Incident 02-42-002: :
Security Officer J████ M███████ was assigned with guarding Code Room Green when he discharged three rounds of ammunition into Security Officer Olwen, and retrieved SCP-[x]. His life signs ceased immediately. SCP-[x] produced SCP-████ and was contained by Technician-Alpha team “Atlas”. Following this incident, all experimentation has been banned due to unpredictable results.
Incident: CodeRed : Security Officer X████ claimed to see an unidentified individual within Code Room Green. Security Guard A████ did not see any such person, and assumed that the other security guard was attempting to retrieve SCP-[x]. Security Guard A████ has been given one week’s paid leave.
Addendum:
Addendum 1: Upon further analysis, the initial body SCP-[x] was found in was found to be wearing a standard issue lab coat from the Foundation, and as such, security measures have been tightened due to potential security breaches regarding SCP-[x]
Addendum 2: Junior Research Assistant D████ B███ has joined Site-██, and will be tasked with assisting Senior Researcher A████.
Addendum 3: Following Incident: CodeRed, security protocols have been updated in order to protect SCP-[x] from other security guards attempting to enter Code Room Green.
Incident: CodeRed was an instance where a security guard claimed to see someone within Code Room Green. Security Guard A████ did not see any such person, and assumed that the other security guard was looking for an excuse to retrieve SCP-[x]. Security Guard A████ has been given one week’s paid leave.
Addendum 4: Following Incident 02-42-002, Site Director A████ has banned testing with any life forms in order to prevent further loss of personnel and manifestation of anomalous objects.
Addendum 5: Document 1A was found on the door frame of Code Room Green.
Document 1A:
It’s removing them from existence. I was there for Incident 02-42-002. The body VANISHED. They’re fucking lying, I know it. They know something, don’t they? I’m telling you, watch out. They’re hiding something.
Addendum 6: The document below must be read by all members with level 4 security clearance.
WARNING: SECURITY LEVEL 4 REQUIRED. FOUNDATION PERSONNEL AND OTHER PERSONNEL WITHOUT CLEARANCE WILL BE TERMINATED INSTANTLY.
