SCP-XXXX
object class: Euclid Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX doesnt necessit any special containment procedures, however, it is to be kept in a room full of chew toys and fed twice a day. Any personal members on site may request to play with SCP-XXXX,daily interaction with him is necessary to avoid psychological distress (see addendum 1).

Description: SCP-XXXX is a normal female corgi dog, estimated to be around 4 years old. However, SCP-XXXX can't be hurt or killed, each time an accident or a voluntary attempt to hurt
SCP-XXXX happens, something will happen to prevent it. This reaction has no inherent abnormality but can go from minor things like slipping to breaches of confinement from other scps.

History: SCP-XXXX was retrieved in a PETA animal shelter in Florida, it attracted the attention of the fundation when the woman charged to put SCP-XXXX down accidently injected herself with the 900 mg of pentobarbital meant for SCP-XXXX.

After further investigation SCP-XXXX is believed to be involved in several other cases, like a drunken man caught on video trying to kick SCP-XXXX, only to slip and breack his neck on the pavement.

The reaction produced by SCP-XXXX doesnt show any abnormalities by itself so the situation doesn't warrant the use of any amnestics.

addendum 1: In light of SCP-XXXX properties, it was recommended to minise its interactions with personnal. However, several days after recovery, SCP-XXXX started too show signs of anguish and anxiousness, after a few more days, site[redacted] underwent a power shortage, emergency generators were also unresponsive. This led to a breach of confinement of several euclid scps and the death of 19 employees. It was then theorised that psychological harm also triggered a reaction from SCP-XXXX.

Remarks: Requests to use SCP-XXXX to attempt the termination of dangerous scps have been permanently denied, the risk and unreliability of doing so have been judged too high.

Dr.Glenn notes: This animal is fascinating as his abnormality is not the result of any mind altering abilities like SCP-1504, it is like the universe itself refuses the possibility of SCP-XXXX being harmed or dying.

Some of you might wonder why I asked a dog like this to be reclassified as keter, you might think that it only needs food, water and affection and thats it. However, this dog has another property that make it very, very terrifying.

It ages.

What will happen when a being that is not supposed to die reaches the end of his supposed lifespan ?

Dr.Glenn request has been approved, SCP-XXXX has been reclassified as keter.
