Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is a fixed structure, and thus cannot be fully contained without quarantining the surrounding city. An outpost has been constructed adjacent to SCP-XXXX as a compromise.
SCP-XXXX must be subject to daily surveillance from 8 AM-8 PM local time. At no point are books longer than ███ pages long to enter SCP-XXXX. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be neutralized on sight, with class-a amnestics administered to surviving witnesses of said instance.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an independently-owned print shop located in [REDACTED], Belarus. Subject is quite small and unassuming, with very little daytime traffic. Subject takes up about 2500 m³. The face of SCP-XXXX is white, with very few distinguishing features.
Anomalous behaviors occur once a book of ███ pages or more enters SCP-XXXX.1 The book's pages begin dripping with ink, which then coalesces on the floor of SCP-XXXX. The ink then forms no more than four (4) entities (known as SCP-XXXX-1) out of itself.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are tall, jet black, avian entities, closely resembling the extinct Moa (Dinornis Robustus). Instances are extremely hostile, attacking any living being in sight (excluding workers in SCP-XXXX) by [DATA EXPUNGED]. They are easily neutralized, usually requiring one (1) standard .22 caliber bullet anywhere on the body.2
Once an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is neutralized, it will liquefy and coalesce into a puddle. Tests have proven the liquid to be ink; however, this puddle cannot bring any other instances of SCP-XXXX-1 into existence.
SCP-XXXX was discovered on █/██/19██, when it spontaneously appeared overnight. When interviewed, none of the town's inhabitants knew of its existence prior to its appearance, and none recognized the 6 staff operating SCP-XXXX.3 Anomalous activity was confirmed when a local author entered SCP-XXXX with a typewritten, bound manuscript for one of his novels.
Addendum: On █/██/20██, SCP-XXXX was shut down by local authorities, citing tax fraud as their primary reason for doing so. When staff of SCP-XXXX were forced out, they immediately started melting into a black liquid, later identified as ink. This startled the officers holding them, who let go, and the staff returned to SCP-XXXX. Process of classifying staff members as SCP-XXXX-2 through -7 underway.
