VERY EARLY DEVELOPMENT DRAFT
Item #: SCP-4XXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4XXX is to be kept in a 5 meter long by 5 meter wide by 3 meter tall containment chamber lined with a half inch thick layer of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber. Every week, SCP-4XXX is to be relocated to an identical secondary containment chamber by no more than two D-class personnel wearing full body suits made of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber to allow cleaning and replacement of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber lining in main chamber if necessary.
Description: SCP-4XXX is a humanoid entity, possessing physical features from humans and animals. Animal like features include thin white fur covering most of its body, paw like hands and feet, and elongated ears, similar to that of some dog breeds, albeit slightly thicker. SCP-4XXX claims to be 12 years old and male. It's height and weight corresponds with it's claimed age. However, SCP-4XXX does not have any recognizable reproductive organs.
SCP-4XXX will occasionally "glitch", causing their physical form to become distorted in several ways along with distorting the surrounding environment in a similar way. Distortions are extremely random and change frequently. These events are described by SCP-4XXX as being extremely painful. Distortions becomes exponentially more common when SCP-4XXX is emotionally distressed and the only known way to end this behavior is to calm SCP-4XXX, at which point SCP-4XXX and all surrounding environment will return to its natural state. Certain materials have proven to be more resistant to the distortions. This resistance seems to correlate with the molecular complexity of the material with acrylonitrile butadiene rubber providing enough resistance to prevent most damage caused to SCP-4XXX's containment chamber during "glitch" events.
During a "glitch" event, all objects, including living subjects, near SCP-4XXX will be affected by the distortions, having their physical form temporarily altered. However, these alterations are temporary and will revert to normal once the "glitch" event has ended.
SCP-4XXX first came into the Foundation's attention following reports of several sightings of an "odd creature" in ███████, ██ on ██/██/20██. Foundation agents were dispatched to the location to recover SCP-4XXX. When agents arrived, SCP-4XXX started to "glitch" probably due to rough handling or because SCP-4XXX percieved the Foundation agents as a threat. SCP-4XXX caused massive amounts of damage to the surrounding environment. Foundation agents were able to administer a sedative, eventually returning SCP-4XXX to its passive state. Class A amnestics were applied to all witnesses and item was transported to Site-██ for containment.
