SCP-5212 causes a decaying effect on every material it touches. The effect travels through physical interaction, the effect shows "weakness" if the effect has traveled from more than one subject. The decay effect can be reversed by immediate disinfection of the material. However, this is not effective to human subjects.
Non-living subjects of SCP-5212 will experience normal decay. While human subjects will experience a n advanced decomposition. Every Living subject touched by SCP-5212 will appear to have no effects, but after 24-48 hours, they will start to experience an itchy red rash.
