Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a glass container in a soundproofed room. The entrance to SCP-XXXX's containment is to remain closed unless testing or maintenance is being done, during which all personnel are to remain silent outside of completely necessary vocalizations. Two (2) audio recorders are to be kept in the room at all times, checked every thirty-six (36) hours. A camera is to be placed in the room keeping watch on SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX takes the form of a silver trophy or statue that is 30cm tall. The base of the trophy/statue is a black box measuring 12cm by 12cm. Any attempts to photograph the item result in blank images. This is due to SCP-XXXX taking the visual form of what the viewer finds most interesting¹. Few reported cases have found it as a bowling trophy, a Greek statue, and a totem pole. This change in appearance per person has led personnel to begin testing. Further information will be included on file when available.

Recovery Log: SCP-XXXX was located on ██-██-████ when reports of odd behaviour in [REDACTED], Texas rose to the attention of Foundation personnel. Two (2) On-site agents were tasked with discovering further information. The two (2) reported back requesting MTF Psi-7 (“Home Improvement”), however, their request was denied and MTF Epsilon-6 (“Village Idiots”) was deployed to the scene.

SCP-XXXX was found in an abandoned house in [REDACTED], Texas. This location was on record as one previously discovered in SCP-470. Extreme caution was taken and other personnel on-site in ████████, ███████ were to monitor SCP-470 for possible shifts in the location. Civilians under the effect of SCP-XXXX were located and administered Class D amnestics after approval of O5.

██████: I am good. I brought a friend today if that is alright with you.

Sullivan: Of course. If you wouldn't mind, would you please describe your friend for the log?

██████: Well, he's an African American male with a lean build. He has grey hair and a bit of stubble. Funny enough he's wearing the same clothes as me. Is that good enough for the log?

Sullivan: Yes it is, thank you. Now, when did you meet this friend of yours?

██████: The other day. He came up to me when I was feeling really down and we became quick friends.

Subject pauses, leaning to the left

██████: He says that you guys don't believe he is real. Is this true?

Closing Statement: Log is cut short. Dr Sullivan reports a sudden violent nature in the subject at the mention of the non-existent person.

██████: They do in fact exist. Sullivan, I know you don't like me. You stopped liking me days ago, I could tell. But you don't have to attack my new friend.

Sullivan: I never claimed I didn't like you. You were a good man and a smart one too. But your recent change in behaviour is a danger to the site. Now if you can tell me when and where you met SCP-XXXX-1.

██████: My friend has a name, if you could stop associating him with that statue I would be very grateful. He has nothing to do with SCP-XXXX and frankly, I believe I shouldn't either.

Sullivan: Can you answer the question?

██████: No. No, I won't.

Dr Sullivan calls for guards to restrain ██████

She had been reported under the effects of SCP-XXXX and was brought in for examination, during which she refused to go anywhere without “Andy' and “Dave”. There is no one on the current list of personnel by those names. This is a request to administer Class-D amnestics and remove █████ from the site.

SCP-XXXX is to be moved from Site 73 to Site 19 due to its effect on people. It's containment protocol to be revised and all procedures involving its effects are to be recorded. Site 73 had seen seven (7) personnel leave site due to emotional outbreaks and complaints were filed over the unfair treatment of people who weren't on the dossier. Please take these into consideration when examining the item. Attached is a file with a description of the item and it's previous containment protocol.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in store room 177. The temperature of the room is to be kept in the moderate range (see temperature ranges³). The item is to be cleaned once a week. Testing is to be brought to the attention of personnel with level 4 clearance before proceeding.

Addendum XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX was recognized by SCP-073. SCP-073 retained any information known but let personnel know that it is as the planet itself. Whether this is to be believed has yet to be determined.
