Special Containment Procedures: A border currently spanning 3.2 Kilometers had been formed around SCP-5487. Under no circumstances are any staff permitted to physically interact with SCP-5487 unless directly ordered by site command. Armed personnel are to be patrolling the border of SCP-5487 at all times.

Description: SCP-5487 is an area of land currently contained via a border with a diameter of 6.4 kilometers in ██████, Georgia. Within the contained space a structure resembling a high-school stands (SCP-5487-2). Logo's present on the structure indicate the name of the school is "Chief High school".

All land surrounding SCP-5487-2 is largely overgrown, and is covered by a thin film of metallic smelling liquid with a chemical composition matching that of human blood (SCP-5487-3).

The building itself is in pristine condition and despite having been abandoned for 16 years, the building appears as newly built. SCP-5487-2 contains 84 rooms, 68 of which are designated for teaching. All rooms are described to be "prepared for class" on all days except for May 25th of every year (see addendum 5487.1).

The school is separated in halls altering by which floor you are on. The left hall (main floor) is hall 1100. The floor directly above is hall 2100. The right halls follow the same organization but altering by 1200-2200.

Addendum 5487.1: Exception Day

On May 25th of every year SCP-5487-2 is filled with graded school work. Due to recovered on site files, this day is thought to signify the beginning of "summer break". All articles of grade work are described as aged, and show signs of weathering. It is believed that these papers are the original copies of all work graded at "Chief High school" in the year 2006. All copies extracted from SCP-5487-2 disappear after 24 hours of leaving the main structure. All efforts to duplicate copies fail, with the duplicate copy disappearing exactly like the original copy. Any photographs taken of the extracted copies will result in the immediate deletion of the photograph.

Beta7-5: That makes 5. We're all set.

Beta7-Cap:Are we coming through command?

SiteCommand:Coming through loud and clear. you may proceed.

Beta7-Cap:Alrighty gents, weapons hot. We don't know what we're going to see out there.

(Team heads through containment gate via vehicle and makes way to front of building.)

Beta7-2:Its crazy to think this Forrest used to be buildings and schools.

Beta7-3:No doubt it wont be crazier than what we might see in there.

(pause)

Beta7-Cap:We're here, stay on your toes.

(Team exits vehicle and heads to front doors. The outside of the building seems to be visually untouched by nature.)

Beta7-2:What is this shit? (Pauses and bends down.) It looks like mercury.

Beta7-5:Well it probably isn't, I'll take a sample (takes out sample vial and collects the substance.)

(Beta7-Cap walks up to door and tries handle.)

Beta7-Cap:Shit, door is locked. Beta7-4, use the crowbar.

(Beta7:4 forces doors ajar.)

Beta7-5:Looks like the lights are still on.

Beta7-Cap:Nothing we haven't seen before, let's go.

(Team enters building and heads down main hallway.)

Beta7-Cap: We don't know what we're looking for. We should split up into two teams. we'll cover more ground.(pause) Beta7-1, Beta7-2, and Beta7-3, check the left hall.

Beta7-1:Yes sir.

Beta7-2:Copy.

Beta7-3:Copy.

(Beta7-1,Beta7-2, and Beta7-3 make way to left hallway. Beta7-4, Beta7-5, and Beta7-Cap make way to right hallway.)

Beta7-Cap:Check every room, if you find something,radio.

Beta7-3:This one is clear too.

Beta7-2:Anyone else notice how this place is virtually untouched? (pause) I overheard some researchers say something about it being abandoned for 16 years.

Beta7-1:Thats bizarre. There's also none of that substance in these rooms.

Beta7-5:Yo! I found an elevator. Seems like its used for the disabled.

Beta7-Cap:Everyone finish up your sweep and we'll meet up with Beta7-5. Five,stay at the elevator.

(Team finished sweep. All camera feeds show classrooms to be completely furnished. Most of the markers still wrote on whiteboards.)

Beta7-Cap:Ok team, everyone in.

(Team enters elevator, and notice pad for foundation keycard.)

Beta7-Cap:Command, did you know about this?

SiteCommand:Negative Captain, proceed with caution.

Beta7-Cap:Ok team, since command doesn't know about this, let's be safe and assume reality isn't stable here. (pause) From here on out, we're sticking together. Stay alert and focused.(swipes keycard.)

(Elevator begins descent to sub terrain facility.After 38 seconds elevator doors open. Signage of Site-██ is present. Light system appears to be non functioning.)

Beta7-Cap:Command it appears we're in Site-██.

SiteCommand:Copy. (Site-██ does not exist in any foundation records or schematics.)

Beta7-Cap:Let's get moving. All turn on NV.

(All copy.Team makes way through entrance of Site-██.Team reaches hallway with three halls connecting.)

Beta7-Cap:We'll check each, let's start with the right hall. (pause) We'll double back after.

(All copy. Team heads down right hallway. The metallic liquid is seen covering the walls and ceiling of the facility.)

Beta7-1:There's a door up here to the right.

Beta7-Cap:Let's clear it. one,three, and four cover our 6.

Beta7-5:The door seems to jammed. I'll kick it down.

(Beta7-5 kicks on door twice. Room opens to foundation offices.)

Beta7-5:Looks like some offices.

Beta7-Cap:Let's try to find some documents or file cabinets.

(Team starts moving through room. Functioning computer is seen in corner.)

Beta7-3:I have a flashdrive on me. I'll look for some files.

Beta7-Cap:Wait a second, I see movement in that corner.

Beta7-2:Do we drop it?

Beta7-Cap:Wait. lets-

(Entity turns towards Team. Camera and auditory feeds cut. three minutes later camera feed returns and shows all team members deceased. Entity as seen before is not present. Camera feed cuts again. No further transmissions are made by Team Beta-7.
