SCPXXXX

SCP-XXXX shown with the Anderson filter (See addendum XXXX-X) overlaid within a top layer.

Item Number: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Thaumiel / Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX instances are to be taken down and deleted. The internet should be monitored by foundation web-crawlers for any instances of the image are they to come up. Programs should have search emphasis on Connecticut-based web traffic and Chinese Tencent QQ. Users with access should be tracked and terminated or otherwise given a Class-D amnestic agent.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a visual contagiohazard depicting text and an image on a light blue background. The image seems to be modeled after a television station with the name WTNH-8, a local news station based in Connecticut. The anomalous effects of the image have been concluded to be that any viewing of the image in any form that originates from a full copy of the image result in all internal organisms being corroded, but not affecting any other part of the body but the inner organs. Any attempts to use the image without filtering for practical purposes resulted in death as well as system corruption. All attempts at solutions for using this practically have led nowhere. This is on the image as an overlay of a station ending broadcast slide (see Addendum XXXX-1 "Entry 4"). The image contains text symbols and one list, along with the characters "BC". The major decipherable portion of the image Appears to resemble a broadcast schedule preview of a tutorial series. Testing has shown that within this image, the third listing in the list is more strong in it's anomalous contagiohazardous effects working in conjunction with the rest of the image. The text is the reasoning as to the reclassification as Thaumiel for foundation use (see addendum XXXX-1 "Entry 1"). SCP international web agents discovered the image on the Chinese messaging program "QQ" (See addendum XXXX-2 for chat log) The origin of the image is unknown, and there is no trace of who curated the image. Testing for altered showings show that 99.9% of showings in any way lead to the anomalous effects taking place in the host that views it. Contagiohazard Research Head Dr. Anderson was assigned to researching and containing instances of the image, leading to the discovery of the Anderson Filter (addendum XXXX-1). The filter is made of a conjunction of lines found by taking the number of [DATA REDACTED] within the images pixel density and using the [DATA REDACTED] algorithm to get a series of lines. adding these to the image in any shown capacity nullifies hazardous effects in all sentient viewers. Safely filtered and tested instances of the image are marked with the filter and the SCP logo to signify a contained image if not modified. The anomalous effects of the image have been concluded to be that any viewing of the image in any form that originates from a full copy of the image result in all internal organisms being corroded, but not affecting any other part of the body but the inner organs. Further testing beyond this requires the approval of at least three fourths of the O5 command board.

Note from O5-[EXPUNGED]: This SCP is currently being used as one of the standards for SCiP memetics. No current incidents.
