The leaked photograph of SCP-5XXX from the 19██ Secrecy Breach

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5XXX is to be contained in a soundproof and airtight room at Site-54. SCP-5XXX's room will be entered once a week to provide food and thoroughly inspect the room. Anyone that enters SCP-5XXX's room will be required to completely conceal their faces to be unrecognizable by it, and must use a Voice Scrambler whenever verbal interaction is required. Any researcher with Level 4 access or above are not allowed to enter SCP-5XXX's room, concealed or not, due to security reasons. The room is to be guarded with airlock with 2 doors, each door having a panel with a keycard swipe. The use of any voice or facial recognition security measures on SCP-5XXX's room or any containment within a 1km radius of it's room is strictly forbidden. SCP-5XXX will be provided 10 gallons of gasoline every other week to function.

Original

SCP-5XXX is a man-made, self-operating mech that resembles the shape of a humanoid, standing 1.95 meters tall when upright. SCP-5XXX has a mouth that cannot be used to speak, due to the fact that it can only move it's jaws up and down for chewing food. SCP-5XXX fuels itself by consuming any form of burnable fuel through it's mouth, which is then digested through unknown means. SCP-5XXX also requests to eat regular meals despite it being able to run without 10 gallons of gasoline are sufficient for SCP-5XXX to run for 2 weeks straight without powering off. It's "eye" is placed in the center of it's head, and is scrapped from a BMW R75 motorcycle. It is unknown how SCP-5XXX actually sees. A Hakenkreuz is engraved on the back of SCP-5XXX's head, indicating that it was made during the Second World War. It's arms and legs are formed from cylinders, and are disproportionately corroded compared to it's square torso. SCP-5XXX's torso is fitted with a speaker facing it's front,

SCP-5XXX is very strong as it its able to lift up to 1600kg (the weight of a car). Despite it's strength, it is not invincible and can theoretically be destroyed. It is to be handled carefully under any circumstance to avoid irreparable damages.

SCP-5XXX has multiple recordings that it can play from it's speakers at random, which consist of mostly of memos and reports related to counter-intelligence, classified war plans, and German war music. It is unknown how these recordings were imported onto SCP-5XXX, but the existence of these recordings imply that SCP-5XXX was activated at some point during World War 2 and has possibly been encountered multiple times starting from the 1940s. All of the recordings on SCP-5XXX are in German, although it understands English, Italian, and French as well.

SCP-5XXX's personality is described as very sly and deceitful, and it is not uncommon for SCP-5XXX to lie to gain any sort of advantage over the Foundation.

There are no available documents of SCP-5XXX dated before it's discover in Italy, and it refuses to co-operate in the following scenarios:
1: SCP-5XXX is asked about where or how it was made.
2: SCP-5XXX is asked about who he worked with during World War 2, if at all.

Post 12/21/1992 Addendum

SCP-5XXX is able to "copy" or "mimic" the voice and face of any humanoid it encounters.

SCP-5XXX is able to remember a voice and/or face upon initial contact. It's head and neck begin to morph to match a victim, complete with all facial features and organs, as well as vocal chords and even a throat. It is unknown if SCP-5XXX has been aware of this ability prior to the 12/21/1992 Event (see below), and has been hiding it from Foundation staff, or how it is able to do so at all. SCP-5XXX's mimicking also covers small portions of it's body on it's chest and back. Researchers have concluded that SCP-5XXX's ability is supposed to cover it's entire boy, but SCP-5XXX's mimic feature is either dysfunctional due to age or was incomplete upon it's fabrication.

Given SCP-5XXX's origin, it has also been concluded that SCP-5XXX was either assigned to the Gehime Staatspolizei (Gestapo) or Abwehr as an undercover informant. SCP-5XXX is suspected of being a war criminal.

Discovery: On ██/██/1992, SCP-5XXX's presence was brought to the attention of the Foundation after SCP-5XXX was discovered standing idly inside a home by local authorities, in response to an emergency call by the home's owner. SCP-5XXX was wearing an outfit from the Second World War Era, irregularly modified to fit onto SCP-5XXX. SCP-5XXX was detained with no resistance by Agent ████.

Addendum-5XXX-M: Miscellaneous Info Relating to SCP-5XXX

19██ Secrecy Breach: SCP-5XXX was first discovered independent of the Foundation in 19██, roaming in the woods in the Italian province of Trentino by an Italian local, who then proceeded to photograph SCP-5XXX and send the image to a local newspaper, dubbing it a "ghost" from the Wartime Era. SCP-5XXX was not aware that it had been seen or photographed. The spread of the image lead to it becoming an urban legend around the Tyrol region. After SCP-5XXX's detainment ██ years later, the photograph and any publications of it, including newspapers and internet articles.

Possible copies of SCP-5XXX: On ██/██/████, SCP-5XXX claimed that there were more copies of itself around the area it was detained. This alarmed the Foundation, and multiple MTF teams were sent to search the entire region of Tyrol. There were no other SCP-5XXX instances found, and was confirmed as a bluff by SCP-5XXX.

+ 12/21/1992 Event

On 12/21/1992, it was discovered that SCP-5XXX is able to copy the voice and face of any humanoid it comes into contact with, whether it be direct or indirect.

SCP-5XXX copied the voice and face of Level 3 Researcher █████ (SCP-5XXX becoming an instance known as █████-5XXX), a researcher assigned to it. It bypassed security measures by falsely reporting that SCP-5XXX has escaped by stealing the researcher's card and locking the researcher in. The door was then opened by Level 3 Researcher Adam ████ for █████-5XXX to exit. When █████-5XXX was confronted by the Security Department, it proceeded to [REDACTED] any agent that approached it, reverting back to SCP-5XXX. SCP-5XXX broke into SCP- containment cells in an attempt to hide while making its way to Gate A, and assumed the identify of one Level 2 Researcher "W".
