SCP-417-A

Class: Safe

Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-417 are to be distributed to all Foundation sites that have at least a 1.6% chance of disastrous flooding in the next decade. SCP-417 should be kept in an easy to reach emergency zone at each site. There should be at least one guard at each site with an SCP-417 designated to deploy SCP-417 in case of any water related emergency. The designated crew member should be properly trained in using SCP-417, as improper use can have cataclysmic effects on the local topography.

SCP-417 refers to a large number of toilet plungers found in an abandoned warehouse near site 586. After initial testing, the plungers were deemed safe, and the janitorial staff at site 586 were happy to add the plungers to their collection. However, upon actually using the plungers, the staff discovered that the plungers create a vacuum that sucks up any water it touches. Any liquid directly connected to a sucked up liquid is instantaneously sucked up too.

This property was discovered after Janitor <REDACTED> was found completely drained of fluid next to the no longer clogged toilet.
