Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4687 is to be contained in a meager-sized room, and is to not be drank or interacted with, unless told to do so.
Any humans that come into contact, or drink SCP-4687 are to be held for observations and various tests.
Description: SCP-4687 is a vial containing silicon, which causes a person who drinks, or interacts with it to grow augments, and cybernetic upgrades relating to the Church of Maxwellism. The Vial also installs a tiny, yet powerful, computer chip into their brain, which causes them to talk and look more 'cybernetically powered'.
Document-01: Notes on symptoms/effects
As soon as I initiated the test, and the subject drank the Vial, their face turned emotionless, as if they had lost something near and dear to them. I then left the room to let the Vial start to kick in, as soon as I got back, there were major changes in his bodily structure, and his stance/posture was completely different almost as if it was fabricated. After close examination, I discovered that the subject started to create a hue of blue near their meibomian glands, and started to create a metal-like band around the subject's wrist. It seemed as if there was a logo of some sort carved into said object, and it reminded me of something I had seen before, it was a neon-blue cog of some sort. After a week, the subject started to make fan noises, something like you would hear from a computer, or a piece of technology. After around a month into the test, the subject's entire eye turned completely blue, to the point where you could no longer see their pupils and irises. A few hours later, the subject started mumbling about "WAN", and "The Holy Signal", as if they were talking to it. At this point, the subject no longer seemed human, to put it in the simplest way possible, they looked like some sort of robot, or an extraterrestrial being.
Document-02: Notes on after effects, such as family, and social life
Once I concluded the test, I allowed the subject to return home, although, they did not seem to feel happy, or feel anything for that matter. I managed to get one of the subject's family members to write me a log of what they are doing, and how they are. The first log read: "As soon as he came home, we all cheered, and greeted him, until we noticed what had happened to him, his eyes, his arms, his legs, everything, it was all, cybernetic… I tried to engage in a conversation with him, but he just stared at me, and then continued staring at the floor." After I finished reading their log, I decided to look for the imprisoned Maxwellists, and see if they could give me a better explanation of what was happening to the subject. I discovered some Maxwellists that were lingering near the Cafeteria and asked them about the vial. They said in a quiet manner "Well, for the first few months you become a recluse, a person of solitude, after that you return to your old ways." "But what about WAN, what is this 'Holy Signal'?" I asked them, they seemingly shook their heads and wandered off.
Document-03: Information regarding 4687's relation with 217
Since I didn't know much about 217, I asked some of the Stigma-9 members what 217 is. They told me: "SCP-217 is a vial of ichor that many orthodox members in Church of The Broken God use. Now, 4687 is the polar opposite of 217, since 4687 represents modern and futuristic organisms, while 217 represents old and mechanical mechanisms." Now that I connect the pieces together, Maxwellists and Orthodox members use these vials as weapons against each other. Since, both groups have different views on religion, god, and such, they're most likely going to consider each other heretical and fight about it.
Note: Anyone or anything infected or under the effect of 4687 is NOT ALLOWED anywhere near SCP-1167.
Addendum: For a test to be conducted with the Silicon Vial, it MUST be approved by both Saint Hedwig of the Maxwellists, and an L-5+
