Special Containment Procedures: Due to the anomalous properties of SCP-4156, containment is physically impossible. Additionally, due to its seemingly inert and passive nature, the O5 Council has deemed it unnecessary to pursue possible containment procedures and methods. At the most recent revision of this document, ██/██/█████, the only groups capable of accessing and performing tests on SCP-4156 are Dr. Ulan, Dr. Rema, and their subsequent teams.

Description: SCP-4156 consists of two parts, referred to as SCP-4156-1 and SCP-4156-2. SCP-4156-1 is the name given the collection of surrounding terrain, flora, and apparent fauna (although attempting to discover physical existence of said fauna has proven negligible, despite the incessant sound of gryllus pennsylvanicus (field crickets)). Visually, SCP-4156-1 consists of a rocky path leading up to SCP-4156-2, grass resembling zoysia japonica (Korean lawngrass) surrounding the path, and a dense forest of trees resembling populus tremuloides (American aspen) surrounding the grass outside a radius of five (5) meters. After roughly seven (7) meters of trees, light begins to fade out through a gradient of roughly three (3) meters. Artificial light sources up to 10,000 lumens have been tested to brighten the surrounding area to no avail.
SCP-4156-2 is a —m x —m x —m house of an unknown origin. It is constructed of unknown materials that closely shares a resemblance to painted wood. Outward appearance suggests that SCP-4156-2 is a two-story, 19th-century Victorian home. During a Forced Entrance into SCP-4156, light exudes from every window and opening. However, during a Scheduled Entrance, SCP-4156-2 contains decor, paintings, food items, beverage items, furniture, devices, machines, and any other item that one might find in a normal home. These items differentiate depending on the subject inside of SCP-4156 at any given moment.
SCP-4156, for all intents and purposes, exists outside of standard space-time. Through fairly extensive interviews and surveillance, it has been determined that SCP-4156 most likely exists to serve as a safe haven for any human being in dire need. In the event that a human being is experiencing a trauma, either through depression, anxiety, fear, etc., that is so intense that the body is unable to physically handle it, the subject encounters a Scheduled Entrance into SCP-4156.
TEST NUMBER: #1
PERFORMER: Dr. Ulan
PURPOSE: To analyze and determine origin of unknown T-Level "Leftover" Radiation being picked up by Dr. F█████ and her team.
RESULTS: Radiation was found leading back to specific coordinates. Will attempt to analyze further. Considering using wormholes.
NOTES: I personally don't think this proves existence of a new dimension, but for some reason Dr. Rema is convinced it is.
TEST NUMBER: #2
PERFORMER: Dr. Ulan
PURPOSE: To pinpoint location of the origin of aforementioned T-Level "Leftover" Radiation.
RESULTS: Hyperspecific coordinates have been identified. Dr. Kalvin has authorized travel to this location.
NOTES: It feels like we found these coordinates almost TOO easily. I'm worried this could turn into a giant mistake. Also, Rema is getting antsy, so I'll let her perform the next few experiments
TEST NUMBER: #3
PERFORMER: Dr. Rema
PURPOSE: Developing a method of travel to new dimension.
RESULTS: Initial methods have all failed. Extensive research and development requried.
NOTES: Well shit, there go my hopes and dreams. Maybe I'm rushing things, but I want to go to a new dimension, damn it.

TEST NUMBER: #21
PERFORMER: Dr. Ulan
PURPOSE: Potential new dimension travel test #18.
RESULTS: Success. Heavily modified Class-E "MLR" Wormhole will be used as primary travel method. Planning an exploration team deployment first thing tomorrow morning.
NOTES: I'm LITERALLY in shock. I had lost hope around experiment 13, but Rema kept pushing. She was so determined to get this shit to work. Yet here we are.
TEST NUMBER: #22
PERFORMER: Dr. Rema
PURPOSE: First reconnaissance mission into new dimension.
RESULTS: Complete success. Subject D-3221 successfully entered the Wormhole with no harm. New dimension to now be known as SCP-4156. Class designation still up for determination. Description of landscape and entities included in SCP entry file.
NOTES: I'm filled with such excitement and joy! I'm ready for when we start to test anomalies in this new place (especially curious about the house up ahead. Why is light pouring out of it?). Today was the most rewarding day in my entire career at the SCP Foundation. For once in this god-forsaken place, I've actually found a reason to WANT to keep working.
TEST NUMBER: #23
PERFORMER: Dr. Rema
PURPOSE: Attempting to illuminate dark areas near entry point in SCP-4156-2.
RESULTS: Failure. Light sources, even up to 10,000 lumens, have no effect on the darkened areas past the treeline. SCP entry file updated.
NOTES: Since we spent pretty much all day yesterday simply documenting what we saw, now its time to do some real experiments and tests in this new place. I don't understand the purpose of this location, or why there was any "Leftover' Radiation being picked up, but I suppose we'll find out. I think I'm going to let Ulan perform a few tests now, I'm sure he feels left out.
TEST NUMBER: #24
PERFORMER: Dr. Ulan
PURPOSE: Leaving the surrounding treeline of SCP-4156-1.
RESULTS: Again, failure. However, this experiment DID suggest just how anomalous this location can potentially be. Upon walking approx. five (5) meters outside of the treeline, no visible progress was made. After turning around, D-3221 had only traveled approx. one (1) meter. No matter how far D-3221 walked in any direction outside the treeline, he could never pass more than one (1) meter into the forest.
NOTES: I'm not sure if this location acts as a prison, or we're simply not meant to go past this treeline. Will ignore this and continue testing other potential anomalous properties. Excited and curious about the house in front of us.
TEST NUMBER: #25
PERFORMER: Dr. Ulan
PURPOSE: Identifying local flora and fauna.
RESULTS: All attempts to bring back local flora samples back through the Wormhole have proven to be failures. The samples destabilize rapidly and dematerialize in a matter of seconds. As for fauna, no physical proof can be identified, despite the sound of insects can be heard at all times.
NOTES: The plants around us resemble aspen trees and common grass, and it sounds like field crickets are all over the place. As much as I would like to officially state that they exist here, we cannot prove this. And since we're dealing with an dimension outside of normal space-time, no assumptions should be made.
TEST NUMBER: #26
PERFORMER: Dr. Rema
PURPOSE: Observing interior of SCP-4156-2.
RESULTS: With the use of Irim Anti-Light Emitters and EV/UV protective goggles, D-3221 was able to observe and capture photos of the interior of SCP-4156-2. Entry level foyer completely empty. Appears to have aged over centuries. No light sources found.
NOTES: I should be surprised at the facts that the house is not only empty, but contains no light sources (despite the blinding light it emits constantly), but in all honesty I'm more surprised that our D-class subject hasn't perished yet. Hell, he hasn't so much as gotten scratched.
TEST NUMBER: #27
PERFORMER: Dr. Rema
PURPOSE: Attempting entrance into SCP-4156-2.
RESULTS: Failure. Front door is immovable. Windows constructed with a shatterproof material. Other obvious entrances apparent.
NOTES: None.

PURPOSE: Entrance via explosives.
RESULTS: Experiment cut short. Explosives never obtained due to lack of authorization.

PURPOSE: Time wave analysis within SCP-4156.
RESULTS: Potential breakthrough. Moving subsequent logs into new category.
NOTES: We might have stumbled upon something much more than just an abandoned house in an unmarked dimension.

PURPOSE: Further tachyon displacement analysis.
RESULTS: Analysis suggests that SCP-4156 naturally connects to our own dimension. Class-E Wormhole might have been unnecessary.
