uuuhhhh I think this is my Sandbox page. I think. When it comes to forums and formatting I'm equivalent to a time traveler originating from the 1800s. Wait… that kinda sounds like a cool SCP to write. >:)
I'm full of ideas here, but actually writing an SCP has me stuck. Mostly because it'll require some heavy dedication and most of that dedication is focused on final exams at the moment. Maybe at a later date I'll start writing actual drafts rather than just a bunch of ideas.
My Ideas that have no draft at the moment:General idea: Sapient/Sentient Telekinetic arm that’s been travelling the world looking for it’s owner. It’s angry, confused, and doesn’t understand why it had to be amputated (the owner would’ve died from his wounds if it hadn’t been amputated).
General Idea - Organization that archives and documents the entire omniverse. SCP Foundation will capture and contain a man representing this organization. He has indiscernible features. He'll reveal who he works for and the map of the SCP Multiverse.
This organization is the "omniversal constant." Much like the laws of our universe, the omniversal constant states that this organization must and must not exist simultaneously to keep order in an otherwise chaotic reality. Their jobs are to archive and record everything that occurs in the omniverse. We later find out everything they archive/record just ends up being whatever is written about whatever universe is being written about. It plays off the "we're made by horror writers!" but to the extent that it applies to all fiction. An example is if a new comic is released for DC comics. The omniversal constant will then record and archive the events of that new comic into their database. This is the idea I'm going for.
An idea I have for this SCP is to have a surprise at the end when you find out that the document was not made by the SCP Foundation but instead forcefully put on their servers. At the end is a message, something like: "We finally figured out a way to communicate with you. We know you exist outside of the Omniverse. Whether you're our creators or observers, we want you to know that we know you exist. Watch yourself."
The only way this SCP comes to fruition is if I ever figure out how to make interactive maps. I'd really love to make one for the SCP Foundation and provide it with the following SCP.
//This is probably my end goal as both an author and a reader for this wiki. //
