Special Containment Procedures: Scp-XXX1 is to be contained in Standard Secure Humanoid Containment Cell, Research and observation Sector-14 at Site-10. Under no circumstance shall darkness be present in the room or within 5 feet of its placement. Light of at least 150 watts must be present illuminating the room at all times. The light is to be turned up if it becomes hostile. Scp-XXX1 can be feed 3 times of the day and if requested board games are allowed.
Description: Scp-XXX1 is a male around 1.6 meters in height. It wears a black casual trench coat and black pants with same color high top shoes of unknown brand. It seems to have no face but two medium sized green dots where eyes would be, the color changes when it isn’t as hostile to blue. In additional to clothing it seems to be wearing a dark Peruvian hat it is unknown how it is being worn, it seems to have no head but only a void like space where the head would be.
Scp-XXX1 will become aggressive if it senses “fear” nearby, it is to be restrained if this happens for 12 hours until it will be able to freely move. If left alone sensing fear in a victim it will instantly put a it in a deep sleep and Scp-XXX1 will “blink” out of reality for an unknown amount of time until it returns leaving the victim brain dead. It is unknown of where it goes during this period.
Addendum 049.1: Discovery
Scp-XXX1 was found following a streak of brain dead men, women, and children in Austin, Texas. Investigators couldn’t find presence of Scp-XXX1 presences in the area. While law enforcement personnel engaged the hostile Scp-XXX1 was not able to fully complete its process and only put one person in a deep state of sleep. On site was Dr. Alexander Fint and Scp-XXX2 stopping before continuing its process. Saying “He is clean” and willing being contained, but being sedated on spot.

Scp-XXX1: Pestilence, what is that. There are others here?
Dr. Harold Climatic: What do you “cure” people of then.
Scp-XXX1: Fear doctor…… it is a disease that is spread to everyone even you (He point at the doctor) I just want to- (moving closer to the doctor) (speaks in unknown language)
Dr. Harold Climatic: Scp-XXX1 may I remind you that you are to stay 8 feet in distance away from me at all times .
Scp-XXX1: Bah, you are short sighted Doctor you all are in this facility it is spreading right now as we speak. Do you not understand that state we are in doctor?

Addendum 049.2
Scp-XXX1 seemed to almost put Dr. Climatic in a catatonic state 38 minutes into the interview. He was taken out before the full effect had taken place. Scp-XXX1 was contained and the security tape is being investigated. It was learned that he was speaking Latin mixed with Japanese seeming to be fluent in both.
The following interview was held by Dr. Alexander Fint.

Scp-XXX1: You (pause) *(speaks in unknown language)
Dr. Alexander Fint: Yes (looks up from papers)

Dr. Alexander Fint: You’re referring to fear am I correct?
Scp-XXX1: Yes (Leans forward) you don’t have any
Dr. Alexander Fint: Well I would think you are wrong.
Scp-XXX1: No doctor, I am always correct about these things never wrong!
Dr. Alexander Fint: Fear is a normal human thing Scp-XXX1 and it seems that you don’t understand that but I want to know is where do you go when killing a victim.
Scp-XXX1: I do not kill Doctor I only cure, them.
Dr. Alexander Fint: Yes, but where do you go Scp-XXX1.
Scp-XXX1: (Sighs) If you must know Doctor, I put them to rest and I go into their head.
Dr. Alexander Fint: What do you do there?
Scp-XXX1: I create a different but familiar reality and feed them fear so it can all be there, then I extract is from said person curing them.
Dr. Alexander Fint: killing them Scp-XXX1, you leave them brain dead so they cannot move nor speak.
Scp-XXX1: You are short sighted I see, even the non-infected are as ignorant too I see.
Dr. Alexander Fint: You fail to realize that fear is not an infection or a disease.
Scp-XXX1: (Slams fist to table) No you fail to see that it is, it grows inside of a person like a weed and it-

Addendum 049.3
It was translate that Scp-XXX1 said “He is clean a rarity”. Scp-XXX1 is to be interviewed on occasion and containment protocols remain. Scp-XXX1 is a strange case, none the less we will learn from observations.
