Special Containment Procedures: An exclusion zone has been established 4km from the perimeter of SCP-XXXX, and cover story XXXX.37B, "Quarry" has been disseminated. VORST Site-755 has been constructed within the region for increased documentation of SCP-XXXX and it's nature. Under no circumstances are any personnel to enter SCP-XXXX without Level 3 clearance and permission from the current Head Researcher stationed within VORST Site-755.

Civilians attempting to enter SCP-XXXX are to be retrieved immediately and swiftly amnesticized, followed by their transference to Unit 44 of VORST Site-755 for psychological evaluation.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an S-CSUSAC2-G1 spatial anomaly encompassing the abandoned Norwegian town of Haugeland. This anomaly, when entered, alters the size of the town by a large degree, although accurate measurements are almost impossible to acquire due to dense fog obscuring the space. The surrounding scenery, such as mountains, hills, or other settlements, will simply be replaced with generated copies of structures present in Haugeland. Each of these generated structures will have a randomized set of furnishings and in rare cases a randomized layout. Despite Haugeland's abandoned state, all structures within SCP-XXXX are in good condition and do not show any visible signs of deterioration. Similarly, the power grid within Haugeland remains fully operational.

Weather patterns within SCP-XXXX deviate from weather patterns in the surrounding area, commonly generating thunderstorms. It is theorized this is due to SCP-XXXX's separation from baseline reality, causing it to develop it's own meteorological systems.

Time within SCP-XXXX is also distorted, and remains constantly inconsistent with regular time. The exact magnitude of this distortion has not yet been identified, but is currently being investigated. Individuals that have entered SCP-XXXX report time passing at a slower pace, as well as time passing at a much faster pace. It has also become apparent that time within SCP-XXXX does not adhere to common mathematical laws, meaning it is often completely impossible for individuals within SCP-XXXX to feel time passing at all.

Within SCP-XXXX are several distinct classes of anomalous entities, each exhibiting different behaviors. The most notable of these entities are listed below.

    Entity Behavior Habitat
Horned goat-like humanoid entities, measuring roughly 8ft in height. Will immediately attack any human individual in their proximity. This is usually accomplished by impaling the individual's neck with their horns. These entities will proceed to consume the carcass of said individual. Can be found everywhere.
A grossly over-sized variant of coconut crab (Birgus latro). Behavior seen from these entities is equal to that of regular Birgus latro, although is much more destructive due to their size. Their food source has not yet been identified. These entities prefer dark areas and tend to hide from view. They are commonly found in trees.
Sentient clouds of unknown chemical composition, roughly the size of a bowling ball. These entities constantly hover above the ground and emit a low buzzing tone when touched, followed by the spontaneous combustion of the individual that made this contact, usually resulting in death. Ran a new task on the analysis computers — attempting to discern the complexity of a dot-based language.
149 5.29.14 New analysis computers arrived, broke them in by trying to simulate all possible divisions of the message.
150 6.30.14 Manipulated base through flips, rotations, reflections, and several stretches and compressions before putting it through previous suite of analyses.
247 10.01.14 Not message at all? Maybe art? Compare for logical consistencies or repetitions of symbols to confirm if even language.
248 10.13.14 Connect the dots? Worth a try.
249 10.20.14 Greenhorn suggested we run it through nonverbal languages screener — poor guy thinks it'll really be that easy.

In order for an individual to exit SCP-XXXX, they must travel back through their entrance point. This process is complicated by the non-Euclidean nature of the space, meaning an individual's entrance point may change location numerous times, or may completely disappear for short periods. Entrance points can manifest in various ways, and can appear as doors, trapdoors, tunnels, etc, but are never noticed by the individual as they enter into SCP-XXXX. These entrance points can be utilized by individuals that did not enter through them, but due to SCP-XXXX's size and confusing nature it is very uncommon for one individual to find the entrance point of another.
