Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B are to be oriented such that they are continuously pressing against eachother, and locked in a padlocked, explosion-resistant safe measuring 3 meters by 3 meters. The safe, deemed SCP-XXXX-C, is to be continuously monitored by surveillance cameras to safeguard against tampering or theft by site personnel or outside forces.

Description: SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B are two metallic cubes measuring 10.0 cm along the edge, with esoteric, spiraling inscriptions on two adjacent faces resembling the undecipherable historical Linear A script that was utilized by Minoan cultures between 1800 - 1450 BCE. SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B hover above any solid surface parallel to their bottom faces at a height of 1.78 m. SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B move towards each-other at a constant velocity of approximately 3.142 meters per second regardless of distance between either cube.

Testing has demonstrated that the movement only begins when faces of SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B with text are oriented towards each-other and the adjacent text facing in opposing directions. If either cube is rotated, movement ceases and the cubes hover in place and can be re-positioned. Upon closer examination of the movement by Dr. [DATA EXPUNGED], it has been revealed that the change in velocity of the cubes starting and ending movement towards each-other results in near infinite acceleration and deceleration.

INCIDENT XXXX-D

After the unfortunate Incident XXXX-D involving a maintenance crew on 07/01/████, testing with non-organic blockades demonstrated SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B will continue moving towards each-other regardless of material positioned between the cubes. No known material will stop the advance. A 1 meter wall of Tungsten positioned between SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B was extruded out of the way of the advancing cubes until they were touching at the center; resulting in craters forming on either side of the tungsten that appeared similar in form to those left by high velocity projectiles in materials like lead.
