Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: I just put the bloody thing in my office next to my keys, but Jeffrey keeps stealing it! I request that you fire the bugger immediately! And while you're at give me a holiday.
Description: It's just a photo of a lad. Just some boy smiling and stuff. It makes all us loopy or something I don't even remember anymore.
Dr. Knight Ph.D.: This is highly unprofessional and I expect Dr. Damon Psy.D. to rewrite this document or there will be serious repercussions.
I realize the document I filed was not appropriate and understand the frustration with receiving it. I was under the effects of SCP-XXXX at the time but I take full responsibility for my actions. I apologise for the inconvenience. I fully understand if you still intend to move me to another project but I have removed myself from the area of SCP-XXXX and I hope that this new document makes up for the confusion.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX was originally contained in my office on a four by four plank of wood I use as a shelf attached to the wall, but due to the constant disappearance of it while I have been on break it has been moved to Vault [REDACTED] on Level 4.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 5 x 7 photograph in a thin wooden frame of a young boy estimated to be 5 to 7 Y/O jumping joyfully in a field. The child is the only living thing within the photograph (excluding the grass beneath him) and the field appears to go on for miles with no end in the range of the camera.
Looking at SCP-XXXX, whether the photograph itself or the frame, causes the observer to go into a loopy state similar to extreme drunkenness for approximately 30 minutes with no known side effects other than a 30-minute addiction to it.
Photographs taken of the pictures or frame have the same drug-like effect.
Because of the nature of SCP-XXXX, it has a very addictive quality. Researchers exposed to SCP-XXXX became extremely distraught whenever leaving its side but the feeling always wore off after approximately 30 minutes due to lack of exposure.
