Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5120 is to be contained in a 7m x 7m type 2 humanoid containment area with only 1 SCP-5120-2 instance inside for testing purposes. (this can be changed in experimental situations temporarily in wich no more than 4 instances may be in the containment area. After the experiment has ended the instances are to be terminated immediately) All other instances are to be shot on sight. No personnel is to enter SCP-5120's containment area.
Description: SCP-5120 is an infectious disease transmitted primarily by SCP-5120-2 by the bloodstream. The most common sign of infection is a layer of glass-forming around the infected subject's body leaving nothing but the glass in the areas of the body covered by the infected layer resulting in a quick death caused by loss of blood or lack of vital organs such as the heart. After death, the infection continues to spread until the infection has fully covered the body. At this stage, the body comes back to life and should now be classified SCP-5120-2.
SCP-5120-2: SCP-5120-2 are infected that reached the end of the infection stage resulting in the subjects whole body transforming into the glass. SCP-5120-2 will try to come into physical contact with non-infected infected, upon physical contact non-infected subject will become visibly cut and after approximately 2 minutes subjects will become infected.
