Special Containment Procedures: Object is contained in a ten (10) by ten (10)
by five (5) meter room constructed of cement (One-hundred fifty (150) centimeter thickness). Access is via a heavy containment door measuring five (5) by two point five (2.5) meters constructed on bearings to ensure the door closes and locks automatically unless held open deliberately. No more or less than two (2) security guards are to be posted no fewer than five (5) feet outside the containment chamber. It is further advised that only teams of two (2) may enter SCP-8521's chamber at a time.
Description: SCP-8521 is a memetic entity that can manipulate a person's mind. Origin is as of yet unknown. Structure is unknown. SCP-8521 becomes hostile whenever more or less than two (2) people enter its containment chamber. It begins to possess one of the people, making themselves a hostile monster that is unkillable until there are less than three (3) people in the chamber, including itself. After that, whenever there are no more or less than two (2) people left in the chamber. After that, it will return to its normal duties which are unknown. In case of a containment breach, personnel are reminded to never think about SCP-8521 and, in rare cases, if a deep, male voice is heard, to ignore it.
Incident 8521-1: At 05:27 on ██/██/199█ the two security guards posted outside of SCP-8521's containment chamber reported seeing strange hallucinations and hearing voices after their shifts. At 07:06 on █/██/199█, the two guards shot themselves during one of their shifts. Autopsies showed that both of the guards' hearts, livers, lungs, and brains were missing.
