Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a 1.5 X 0.5 meter glass container in a standard containment cell. The removal of SCP-XXXX or the opening of it's container is to not to be allowed unless authorized by Level 3 or higher personnel. SCP-XXXX is to not be recorded in video, photography, drawing, or writing unless given permission by SCP-XXXX (Refer to Addendum-1).
Description: SCP-XXXX is an inanimate meter tall marionette named Tom the Sailor, it is not to be referred to by this name in writing outside of this reference. This entity is made out of wood and is wearing a small sailor outfit which consists of a paper hat, a blue sailor coat, and a red bow tie. The entity is unable to get wet or be damaged.
Addendum:
Addendum-1: When a person is exposed to SCP-XXXX outside of it's container, or creates an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 or writes down it's name without permission they will become an instance of SCP-XXXX-1. instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will (DATA EXPUNGED).
Addendum-2: A video photograph or drawing of SCP-XXXX is classified as SCP-XXXX-2A. When exposed to SCP-XXXX-2A a person will become SCP-XXXX-2B (Refer to Addendum-3). SCP-XXXX-2A is to be kept in documents and disc only acessible to Level 2 or higher personnel and are to never be recorded digitally.
Addendum-3: People that become SCP-XXXX-2B will continue to behave normally unless asked to ride an aquatic vehicle. SCP-XXXX-2B will always refuse to ride aquatic vehicles. If forced onto an aquatic vehicle SCP-XXXX-2B will become extremely stressed and paronoid. SCP-XXXX-2B will attempt to escape the aquatic vehicle if possible and will most often escape by jumping into the surrounding water. When in water SCP-XXXX-2B will be unable to swim despite experience prior to seeing SCP-XXXX-2A. When SCP-XXXX-2B dies from drowning they will continue to sink instead of floating like most humans. SCP Foundation Researchers assigned to SCP-XXXX still don't know why this happens.

Interviewer: Dr. Humes
Foreword: Dr. Humes interviews a D-Class Personnel that has seen SCP-XXXX-2A

Dr. Humes: "Dr. Davis do you feel unusual after seeing that picture of SCP-XXXX?"
Mr. Davis: "That puppet looks pretty freaky, but I don't feel different after seeing that picture. Is that thing going to hunt me down or something?"
Dr. Humes: "Please refrain from asking questions. Mr. Davis, What are your thoughts on the ocean?"
Mr. Davis: "I was never a huge fan of beaches or crowds, but I do have fond memories of going to the docks as a kid and sailing out with him to fish."
Dr. Humes: "Well that's awfully convenient because or next test is being done out in the ocean on a boat."
Mr. Davis: "Ooh, that's a problem, I can get very seasick."
Dr. Humes: "Didn't you just say that you use to go fishing with your dad?"
Mr. Davis: "That was a lie, uhh I can't do the next test."
Dr. Humes: "You don't have a choice Mr. Davis, your going."
Mr. Davis: "AAAAAAAH!" (Yelling and objects being thrown are audible)

Closing Statement: After being exposed to SCP-XXXX-2A subject reports feeling normal. After being asked about the ocean the subject talks about his positive memories of fishing on a boat with his dad. After being told that the next test is taking place on a boat the subject tries to persuade Dr. Humes to excuse them from the experiment. After failing to persuade Dr. Humes the subject tries to attack him and the subject is then shortly subdued by security personnel. During the next test the subject jumps off the boat without any personnel attempting to intervene. the subject never surfaces.
