Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4xxx is to be maintained at a constant temperature of 2°C. All personnel interacting with SCP-4xxx are to be clear of any pathogens inside or outside of their body.
If it is suspected that SCP-4xxx enters a subject orally or through hypodermic injection without his or her consent, the subject must immediately report to the infirmary to be given dexmethylphenidate pills or any other dopamine inhibitor inside of the facility.
Description: SCP-4xxx consists of a grey liquid inside of what the foundation identified as a standard vaccine bottle. SCP-4xxx appears to have the same viscosity of water under in a room temperature environment.
SCP-4xxx was found inside of a hospital that previously, received complaints that young children receiving their yearly flu vaccination started showing symptoms of attention deficit hyperactive disorder. note: only the parents of the children who received the hypodermic vaccine complained, the ones that had their children administered the alternative nasal vaccine had no complaints what so ever.
When SCP-4xxx was injected into a subject, only 48 hours after the injection the subject started showing symptoms of ADHD. subsequently, an EEG scan was administered to the subject. The results of the EEG scan discovered that SCP-4xxx had caused the subjects brain to become less efficient overall. Subjects also reported that they had trouble concentrating on preforming tasks and often got sidetracked in the middle of one.
Alternatively, when SCP-4xxx was injected into subjects with diagnosed Asperger syndrome, the subjects were able to maintain eye contact far longer than they normal would. Also, the subjects tone of voice seemed to show more emotion than previously. When the subjects were re tested for autism spectrum disorder, they often showed far less symptoms than when they originally were tested for the mental disorder. However, like the other subjects without known mental disorders, the subjects who previously had Aspergers syndrome started showing ADHD symptoms.
