Special containment procedures (outdated as of incident 5432-2):
Containment of SCP-5432 is focused primarily on maintaining secrecy regarding the nature of SCP-5432. Protocols require frequent visits to POI-DAD and POI-MOM from a foundation psychotherapist with experience in dealing with bereavement, and frequent visits to SCP 5432 from a child psychologist. These visits are to take place as often as required, but no fewer than once weekly. Requests for supplies or assistance from POI-DAD and POI-MOM are to go through standard channels ONLY after being approved by at least one level three personnel.

• Staff are encouraged to refer to SCP-5432 as 'sophie', as this appears to have a calming effect on it. While referral to SCP-5432 by its designation while in its' presence is not strictly prohibited, personnel are to remember ethics committee guidelines on the treatment of sapient anomalies. Causing undue distress to a sapient anomaly is grounds for disciplinary action.

• POI-DAD and POI-MOM are to be allowed restricted internet access, with the stipulation that they at no point reveal the nature of SCP 5432. In addition, POI-DAD and POI-MOM are explicitly not to arrange for any civilian to enter their domicile, and are to be made aware that any civilian attempt to enter the house will be met with immediate lethal force, and termination for both parties. To date, no attempts have been made, and both individuals are considered low-level foundation employees.

• POI-DAD and POI-MOM are to have full access to SCP-5432, dependant on good behaviour, as their presence appears to calm the entity. Any experiments carried out on SCP-5432 are to be carried out under the pretense that we are attempting to ‘cure’ SCP-5432. Actual attempts to undo the damage done during event SOPH are not actively encouraged, but are allowed with approval from at least one clearance level 04 staff member.

SCP-5432 is contained in a standard civilian domicile in Lincolnshire, UK. The house is situated far away from any other nearby residences and amenities, surrounded on all sides by farmland. Due to the remote nature of the house, on-site containment is favourable. The road passing the house has been marked as impassable with diversionary routes arranged, and all fields surrounding the house are marked and used by the foundation for the keeping of semi-dangerous, non-anomalous livestock, mainly cows and bulls. This has effectively stopped all land-based civilian observation of the area, and standard anti-aerial observation protocols are to be enacted. Approved luxuries are to be supplied to POI-DAD and POI-MOM as requested, and the house is to be kept supplied with standard utilities to facilitate comfort.

Description (outdated as of incident 5432-2):
SCP-5432 is a non-corporeal entity resembling a slender human child. This entity always takes the same overall shape, but details such as skin tone, facial features, hair and clothing style will constantly shift in and out of focus. To date, SCP-5432 doesn't show any ability to control this effect. SCP-5432 currently resides in a childs’ bedroom in Lincolnshire, UK. SCP-5432 first became known to the foundation on 04/09/2017, due to standard foundation monitoring of police radio chatter. Upon confirming that the incident the police were about to attend was, in all likelihood, anomalous, MTF Epsilon-6 (Village Idiots) were dispatched to the reconnoitre the scene, and the police response was cancelled. When MTF Epsilon-6 arrived on scene they found POI-DAD and POI-MOM arguing, both appeared hysterical, but calmed quickly when the heavily armed MTF entered the house. Upon discovery of SCP-5432, the effective self-containment of the anomaly and the willingness of POI-MOM and POI-DAD to assist in containment, the above procedures were enacted.

POI-MOM: OK, well, I was just cooking tea. Dave (POI-DAD) was watching TV and Sophie (SCP-5432) was in her bedroom, playing.
Dr: And did she spend a lot of time in her bedroom?
POI-MOM: over time, yeah. She used to be so outdoorsy, always running around the fields, playing in the woods nearby… then about half a year ago she started spending more and more time in her room. God… If we knew…
POI-DAD: How could we have known? In what universe do you assume your daughter is a- a- a witch?!
POI-MOM: (turning to POI-DAD) Don't you fucking DARE call our daughter a witch! If it weren't for you we'd still have a daughter!
