Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is contained by a positive pressure relief valve (PPRV) with a maximum allowable working pressure of 55 psi fitted to the primary blower motor of SCP-xxxx. The PPRV was covertly installed on SCP-xxxx by a Foundation sneak-and-peak team following the BlueMound Incident, which occurred on July 11, ██. PPRV includes a radio transmitter that broadcasts SCP-xxxx's internal positive pressure reading to Foundation Monitoring Post 4 on a frequency of ██ Hertz.
Description: SCP-xxxx is a bi-directional multi-line pneumatic tube delivery system. SCP-xxxx runs throughout a factory, warehouse, and administrative office building complex owned by ██ Corporation located in ██, New York. SCP-xxxx is comprised of the following:
- 2,734 meters of seven inch diameter air-tight aluminum tubing, called the "Network," through which document canisters are delivered by the use of air pressure generated by SPC-xxxx's blower motor. The Network runs through the walls, floors, and ceilings of the structures on the ██ Corporation campus.
- 312 diverters, which are junctions in the Network that direct canisters from a sending staton to the desired receiving station.
- 42 send/receive stations, each of which is a terminus on the Network and is used to deposit canisters into the Network for delivery and to receive canisters from other stations.
- one 50 horsepower blower motor, which is located in the sub-basement of office building no. 3.
Unbeknownst to ██ Corporation, SPC-xxxx has the ability to read any document which is placed into the Network and to re-direct its canister to a send/receive station other than station specified by the sender of the canister. See Log 1

Description: SCP _ is a pneumatic tube delivery system located in a 12-story office building at ██ ██ Avenue, in the city of ██, state of ██. ██ Corporation was the sole occupant of the building from 1908 through 1964. ██ Corporation utilized SCP __ for delivery of internal memoranda and inter-departmental distribution of mail and telegrams until ██ Corporation’s relocation to ██ ██ Avenue, ██ City, state of██ at which time the Foundation acquired the building, placing title to the building in Foundation off-shore company FOSC number ██. SCP _ is comprised of one thousand three hundred fifty feet eight of nine-inch diameter steel tube secured vertically within various walls and horizontally within inter-story crawl spaces, twenty four terminal stations (two per floor), a kerosene powered vacuum and pressure motor housed in the building’s sub-basement, and numerous re-usable delivery cylinders. Documents retrieved from SCP _ upon the Foundation's acquisition of the building are preserved in the Foundation's archives, except documents with Bates Stamp numbers 20117 through 20234 and 41164 through 41220, which have been classified "Ultra" and are stored in one or more 'eyes-only' repositories. SCP 's Ultra Document Summary states the following: "An unspecified number of documents retrieved from SCP _ delivery cylinders indicate that the business activities of ██ Corporation included the illegal deportation, disposition, and/or slaughter of horses retired from competition." Upon a containment breach having a duration of more than seventy-one seconds, sections of SCP _ located on floors one through six of the building will resonate harmonically to create a radio wave of frequency ██ hz and sections of SCP _ located on floors seven through twelve of the building will emit a constant flow of ██ -type radiation of ██ Sievert. Said effluence of radio waves and radiation has the effect of causing all Kibble balances, wherever located on the planet, to operate incorrectly until such time as containment is restored. For each hour of failed containment a Kibble balance will malfunction by erroneously calculating the Planck constant by negative 0.000000005 x 10 -34. A Kibble balance malfunction will not be detectible by conventional means; therefore, physicists using the Planck constant calculated by malfunctioning Kibble balances will unwittingly understate the photon energy produced in their experiments. This will have potentially catastrophic results in applied quantum mechanics, including the functioning of particle accelerators. Foundation Quantum Team 6 has been tasked with monitoring the effects of SCP _ on the Planck constant in order that the Foundation's quantum physics programs can proceed on the basis of an accurate Planck's constant. All Foundation facilities located within ten miles of any non-Foundation particle accelerator are to be relocated for safety reasons. Additionally, Foundation Animal Welfare Outreach Group 12 has been granted a budget increase of ten percent per annum.
