Special Containment Procedures:SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a 8 m x 8 m x 8 m airtight concrete cell. SCP-XXXX is to be monitored by staff as it is not visible on any form of monitoring device. It is to be muzzled at all times and restraint by an acid resistant steel chain that connects to the entity via a colour, the base of the chain is connected to the ceiling, putting it out of its reach. The chain is to be checked weekly for damage.
When entering the cell of SCP-XXXX it is mandatory to wear a biohazard suit as it is capable of producing toxic gases such as cyanide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, chlorine, phosgene sulfur dioxide and most commonly, ammonia.
Description SCP-XXXX resembles a hairless, malnourished canid quadrupedal that stands approximately 2 meters tall at the shoulders and 3.5 meters long. The entity is primarily royal blue in skin colour with lavender blue stripes thinly outlined in merlot red with the exception of its head. The head is visually reminiscent of a leopard seal skull with unusually large eye sockets, the skull is covered in thin layer of transparent skin that wraps around the skull tightly. The eyes are a glossy black and sunken into the eye socket with the skin surrounding the eye socket being a vivid bright blood red.
SCP-XXXX has a mane of tendrils covering its neck, these tendrils are the main producers of the previously stated toxic gases, it is capable of spraying fluoroantimonic acid from large fangs resembling the fangs of Crotalus atrox out at high pressure. hidden behind the leopard seal like teeth that unfold when the jaw is fully opened, hence the muzzle.
SCP-XXXX is often seen sitting motionless in the centre of its cells, during this dormant state it does not breath or show any signs of respiratory functions. Although the majority of its time is spent in this dormant state it can become active if any form of physical damage occurs. When active it will do everything in its power to track and neutralise the attacker. After successfully terminating the perceived threat it will return to its dormant state where ever it was last standing.
The entity has shown the ability to run up to 189 kph when chasing a victim, over tests have shown that it has a bite force of 4 tons and the ability to solve complex problems to get to its target suggesting high intelligence.
SCP-XXXX has been observed to be immune to all forms of toxins, gases, acids, diseases, and radiation. However it is just as easily harmed by firearms and melee weapons as normal canids, however it’s shown the ability to regenerate itself even while sustaining damage.
SCP-XXXX can mimic voices of things it has observed, such as the voice of a D-class, the scream of a a young child, a barking dog (specifically a German shepherd), the hiss of a cat, the squawking of a macaw, a weeping man and a combination of all of these things.
In the case of an escape SCP-XXXX all nearby staff are to leave the area immediately as the toxic gases produced by SPC-XXXX will most likely spread throughout the building relatively fast. It is advised to use flamethrowers to coax it back into its cell as it appears to be extremely flammable and has a disliking to it.
