#Item: SCP-■■■
Object class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-■■■ is to be contained in a 8 x 4 meter room. SCP-■■■ is contained at Site-17, Unit 18. The usual camera-system is implemented for safety reasons. No one is allowed to stay in the clear vicinity of it for longer than five minute [Except testing].
SCP-■■■'s cage's floor has been scattered down with a thick layer of sand as SCP-■■■'s footsteps can be seen in it. Electric sensors have been installed so SCP-■■■'s footsteps in the sand could be seen by the guard decreasing the chances for it to escape unnoticed as in Test-■■■a.
The guarding person must ask SCP-■■■ [And SCP-■■■-1] to walk a full circle around its room if the guard detects no signs of movement for at least 30 minutes. If SCP-■■■ doesn't respond at all, the guarding person must report it to the facility's security agent and execute a full lockdown of the Unit.
The entering of SCP-■■■'s containment cell by anyone must be supervised by at least one [1] securiy member. Only Class-D or lower personnel are allowed into SCP-■■■'s cell and only for testing. Other than that, No one is allowed to enter its containment cell. If a person shows any signs of paleness or transparency, he must be quarantened until the effects wear off.
SCP-■■■-1 is a former D-Class [D-4790] who has been 'transformed' by SCP-■■■ .
SCP-■■■-1 is contained in one cell with SCP-■■■, mostly because we cannot distinguish them from each other and because we [The Facility's Security Department's Council] decided it would be safer this way.
[SCP-■■■-1 might serve as a 'friend' to SCP-■■■ to keep it sane, as SCP-■■■ is a humanic lifeform as well with a great chance, so they haven't been separated since the accident. ]
Description:
SCP-■■■ or as called by foundation personnell the 'The footsteps' is an invisible entity that can only come in contact with inanimate, non-organic objects. For humans SCP-■■■ is intangible, untouchable and invisible.
It can only be located by the footsteps it makes and the items it interacts with, making SCP-■■■ ludicrously hard to catch and/or to contain. It's steps resemble footsteps by a pair of shoes. [ Description also applies to SCP-■■■-1 ]
SCP-■■■ is non lethal, but it should be supervised with caution.
This entity's anomalous effect was found out accidentaly in Test-#■■■-B [And Test-A attachment's logs]. If a person stays in the vicinity of SCP-■■■, he will start to fade. While fading out of our reality, the person will start to fade into SCP-■■■'s reality. As of right now, there seems to be no way to turn back this process.
Addendum-A:
Addendum-A consist of 2 (two) tests that has been done to find a way to communicate effectively with SCP-■■■. Because of the accident that happened in Test-#■■■-A Dr.C■■■■■■ was suspended from working on Euclid or Keter SCPs .They found out that SCP-■■■ has very dangerous properties for humans and it should never come in contact with people.
Test-#■■■-A:
Date: 201■-04-■■, 5:15 PM
Test operator and supervisor: Dr.C■■■■■■
Subject: SCP-■■■
Test information: The test was done to understand the intelligence and communicative abilities and to test if its dangerous to humans. For the duration of the test, we put a table, two chairs, a pen, a notebook and a camera into the containment chamber of the SCP.
▪Voice Log-#■■■-1:
D-4756: "Hello?"
SCP-■■■: *Begins to walk towards D-4756*
D-4756: "Boss, is that the thing?"
Dr.C■■■■■■: "Yes that's the SCP, but as I said its no harm to humans, don't worry. Now please sit down, and ask it some questions to begin the test!"
D-4756:"Alright then…Uhm…Please sit down. Could you…pick up the pen?"
SCP-■■■: -Sits down, Picks up pen-
D-4756:"Uhm…Can you write?
SCP-■■■: -Tries to scribble something onto the paper-
SCP-■■■: Oh finally! Someone I can talk to! Oh I have a lot on things to talk about, but first, who are you?
D-4756: "Uhm…hi, I'm D-4756, and who are you?"
SCP-■■■: Ah, I'm…. Pauses I forgot
D-4756: "Hmm…then what are you?"
SCP-■■■: I'm a normal ordinary person in a lonely, empty timeline.
D-4756:"And how did you get there?"
SCP-■■■: What do you mean? The question here is, how did You get here?
D-4756: "I was here the whole time, I don't understand."
SCP-■■■: If so, please hold this pen for a second!
Dr.C■■■■■■: "Remember, only do what we asked you for D-4756"
D-4756: "By the way, Doc, is it ordinary to see this SCP's outline? Because Im sure I didn't see it when I came in."
Dr.C■■■■■■: "Yes it's completely normal, but now, please continue the test."
SCP-■■■: Please, leave now
D-4756: "What? Doc, I'm a bit worried, it wants me to leave!"
Dr.C■■■■■■: You will either leave that room if you are done with the questioning or if you pass away while testing. My test, my rules, so please, continue."
D-4756: "Sure, then. Please let me ask some more questions and I'll leave in no time!"
SCP-■■■: Hurry then
D-4756: "You said you are human, so then how old are you, male or female and do you have any extraordinary things we should know about?"
SCP-■■■: I'm older than I should be, as I'm staying here for an eternity, and am a guy with no superskills whatsoever Hope this is good, but please go now
D-4756: "And ar…."
Dr.C■■■■■■: "You're lucky its supper break already so please stand next to the door and I'll let you go!"
— End of voice log —
NOTES:
— D-4756 started to pale and literally fade out during testing, and the D-Class also started to see the SCP's outline. We concluded, that these two are correlating to each other.
— Dr.C■■■■■■ only noticed the missing of SCP-■■■ after coming back from the dinner break.
— Dr.C■■■■■■ didn't note the security guards when the test was done.
— After the test report, D-4756 was put into solitary containment until the paleness and fading will cease. D-4756 is still in containment.
— Off-Recording log —
— 5:30 PM: While D-4756 was exiting the door, SCP-■■■ escaped containment unnoticed.
— 6:29 PM: Dr.C■■■■■■ reported the absence of SCP-■■■ from the testing cell to the Security Agent.
— 6:36 PM: Because not much was known about the behavior of SCP-■■■ they decided to call Special Re-Containment Forces and evacuate the Unit.
— 8:07 PM: The Special Units found SCP-■■■ walking around in the canteen pushing bottles and plates around.
— 9:09 PM: After several failed Re-Containment attempts, SCP-■■■ was successfully contained.
— Test Report —
— We got to know the most important attributes of the SCP [human, male, etc.]
—SCP■■■ escaped containment and it is true that it couldn't have been possible without human negligence, but the Foundation still agreed that SCP-■■■ needs better containment measures.
Test-#■■■-B:
Date: 201■-04-■■
Test operator:Dr.C■■■■■■
Test supervisor:J.H■■■■■ security personnel
Subject: SCP-■■■
Test information: SCP-■■■ was given a typewriter to make communication easier. A pair of cameras [2] were installed for the duration of the test. This test was also done with D-4756 so we can test if he could actually fade out completely.
▪Voice Log-#■■■-2:
NOTE: They were only able to read the typewriter's paper it after it was retrieved from the test chamber.
Dr.C■■■■■■: "Alright please ask the SCP-■■■ some questions and please ask it to answer them using the typewriter! And remember, you are not getting out of here."
D-4756: "Ok. So I hope that you can use a typewriter."
SCP-■■■: *Sits down in front of the typewriter and starts typing*
SCP-■■: * Yes *
Dr.C■■■■■■: "Alright, it was quite obvious that we wouldn't give a typewriter to an illiterate SCP, but at least the first step is done! Now I want you to quickly ask it some better questions!"
D-4756: "So…why am I fading away? Is it actually because of you
SCP-■■■: * I told you last time to leave, it was because of that yes *
D-4756: "And why did you want me to leave?"
SCP-■■■: * Because you are not supposed to come here. *
D-4756: "Where? Am I going to go to you? And why not?"
SCP-■■■: * If you really want to rot here for eternity with me then I'm not going to stop you *
D-4756: Is there a way to turn this thing back?"
SCP-■■■:** Only death
D-4756: "This doesn't sound good, but either they will experiment and keep me here for an eternity or there!"
SCP-■■■: Then come and suffer trough and eternity here
*D-4756 is even more transparent than he was before*
Dr.C■■■■■■: "We need you to turn, so keep doing it this way!. "
SCP-■■■: Lets just wait now
* 30 minutes later | D-4756 is almost completely transparent *
SCP-■■■: * I see that you are coming, so let me just say, that trusting people you dont know is never a good idea *
D-4756: " What do you mean? Either you or they are going to kill me."
* *
Dr.C■■■■■■:** *Stops the recorder*
— Test-Report —
— SCP-■■■ seems to be quite friendly, but it's still very dangerous. It shall Never come in contact with any humans ever again.
— It seems like SCP-■■■ transmuted D-4790 and now the D-Class has officially became SCP-■■■-1.
— The test concluded that if you stay for too long near SCP-■■■ you will start to see fade out of our reality.

#Item SCP-■■■
Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-■■■ is to be contained at Special Containment Site-■■. There should be no other mirrors in the vicinity of SCP-■■■ or nearby the viewer of it.
Personnel are only allowed into SCP-■■■'s cell for testing. If not for testing, absolutely no one is allowed to enter its cell.
Description: Is a mirror made approximately in the 13th or 14th century in a gothic style. Its frame is made of Dark ebony wood, that somehow is still in proper quality despite it's age. The mirror itself is roughly 70 cm wide and 120 cm in height. It has its anomalous effects only when someone is looking into it.[Distance does not matter]
SCP-■■■ has been in the hands of the Foundation since 1990, December 27th. But before that it was in the hands of a former ■■■■■■ secret research/containment facility since 1909 January 8th. This is why there has been so many test on it. In the former ■■■■■■ Union the safety regulations and the technical advancement were not as superior as in the Foundation. This is why there were five [only one of them was at the Foundation] containment breaks by SCP-■■■-1, and that is the reason why it is still in Keter class.
SCP-■■■-1:
 |
| SCP-■■■-1 photographed while it was out of containment |
SCP-■■■-1 is a very dangerous humanic entity which 'lives' in SCP-■■■. It can only come in contact with personnel if either it or someone else breaks the mirror.
SCP-■■■-1 resembles a dark human-like creature which is ~1.80 m tall , has a very deep, frightening voice [It is not capable of communicating though] and is only dangerous if the person does not fear SCP-■■■-1.
If any personnel somehow encounters SCP-■■■-1 they should not try to be calm. It is encouraged to try to cry, scream or show any form of fear to SCP-■■■-1.
When a person is looking into SCP-■■■. He/She will start to see a shadowy figure in it which we call as SCP-■■■-1.When inside SCP-■■■ usually this shadowy figure will only change position only if the person is not looking at it directly [blinking, looking away].Outside of SCP-■■■ it can and will move regardless if someone is looking at it.
SCP-■■■-1 will not appear in SCP-■■■right when its 'victim' goes in front of the mirror. It will hide first and will start scare its 'victim' after a short period of time.
SCP-■■■-1 has four [4] appearance levels:
NOTE: Only one test subject [Human subject] is in SCP-■■■'s chamber at once.
— First stage: It happens when the subject comes in contact with SCP-■■■ for the first time.
▪Only ~6% of the subjets perceived the presence of SCP-■■■-1.
— Second stage :The subjets have been in front of SCP-■■■ for roughly 2 minutes .
▪This time ~22% of the subjects noticed the presence of SCP-■■■-1.
▪Some subjects already started to have 3rd stage symptoms [~16%].
— Third stage:The subjects have been in front of it for 10 minutes.
▪All subjets are aware of the presence of SCP-■■■-1
▪Some of the test subjets start to see SCP-■■■-1 from closer, causing fear and panic [~12%].
▪One of the subjects broke the mirror in fear. It had unanticipated consequences. [for further information about what actually happened see Addendum-#■■■-A ]
— Fourth [Final] stage:The subjects have been in front of SCP-■■■ for more than 20 minutes.
▪Almost all subjets are in the stage of acceptance.
▪They are trying to communicate with SCP-■■■-1, unsuccesfully.[Asking for help, tries to be 'friendly']
▪SCP-■■■-1 starts to go into an angry state [hates when someone is not scared of it] where it moves even when someone is looking at it, while its in this angry and reckless state SCP-■■■-1 is able of breaking SCP-■■■ [the mirror] causing an utter shock and fear to subjets.
▪After breaking the mirror SCP-■■■-1 is now in our real-world and can interact with the subjects, and as it is very mad, it tries to kill the test subjects.[Usually when it breaks the mirror, SCP-■■■-1 will stand behind the subject]
▪SCP-■■■-1 appears in real world where it was in the mirror.[cameras usually cut out for a fragment of a second or they break down, while it appears out of nowhere ]
▪Because the test subjects are scared of it,SCP-■■■-1 will not kill them until they won't calm down.
▪Only a few of the subjets survived it through the test [~33%]
SCP-■■■-1 hates when someone is not scared of it [Only if they know the presence of SCP-■■■-1], but other than that SCP-■■■ is not deadly, only SCP-■■■-1 is dangerous to humans.
Addendum-A:
This addendum consists of the test that have been done on SCP-■■■ and these test's consequences and conclusions as well.
Test-#■■■-A:
Date: 1942-12-■■ — 1988-■■-■■
Test operator[s]: — UNKNOWN —
Subject[s]: SCP-■■■ ; SCP-■■■-1
Test information:This is the collection of test that have been done to fully understand SCP-■■■'s anomalous properties. This is one of the longest running tests that were done in the Foundation. The cause of so many subjects [not Class-D] used in the test the test is because of all the [DATA EXPUNGED] from [DATA EXPUNGED] who had to be eliminated in the process and the people who were to be eliminated by the ■■■ [ [DATA EXPUNGED] / [DATA EXPUNGED] ].
NOTE: The years 1943 and 1947 are missing on purpose and it is
not a typing error [the Foundation doesn't have
any information about those years ]. The years from 1954 to 1988 are merged because after J. V. S■■■■■'s death Operation ■■■ ■■■■ was cancelled, so the years after that are mostly insignificant to note or minimal in means of testing.

《CLASSIFIED ATTACHMENT》
TOP SECRET
The viewing of this file is only allowed to Level 4+ Personnel!
Viewing of this attachment by unauthorized people will be punished by terminating!
NOTE: This file contains secret data from the GRU Division-"P"'s archives. Anyone informing Division "P" about this case will be immediately terminated.
This data and all of the experiment logs were acquired from a Top Secret Soviet Research Laboratory operated by the GRU Division-"P" where they contained SCP-■■■ and [REDACTED] as well. The facility had numerous objects in their hand, but shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union they couldn't sustain safety in their facilities so one of their Site secretly notified the Foundation and gave us numerous anomalous entities as well as SCP-■■■ and [REDACTED] in the agreement that we will be able to contain them properly and to continue what they started. This trade was Top Secret at that time, and it still is. They told us that [REDACTED] had the exact opposite anomalous effects as SCP-■■■-1 and this is why [REDACTED] is mentioned in this file.
The reason for so many test subjets is because of the so many war prisoners from World War II caught by the Soviet Union and the numerous people who were to be eliminated by the KGB [ Komitet gosudarstvennoy bezopasnosti / Committee for State Security ], but higher command proposed a new plan:
Operation: 'Lab Rats' / Операция: 'лабораторные крысы'. The plan was to involve people who were to be terminated and people from Gulags and prisons into experimenting/testing on anomalous objects. But there were so many subjects involved, that they used many of them on objects that were known to be extremely lethal and deadly because they had no regulations, so they did what they wanted. This is why we have a big experiment log of SCP-■■■ and many other entities given by the Soviets to us.
DISCLAIMER:These test subjects were mostly innocent people who did nothing that would have earned such treatments, the Foundation disapproves with such treatment inside our facilities.
Only sinners have to be punished. [except protocol 12]
