Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3208 is to be kept in a locked box no less than 30cm x 30cm. The locked box is to be guarded by no less than two (2) site members at any time. Ideas regarding SCP-3208 are to be forwarded to O5 command.
Description: SCP-3208 is a black slime substance that has not been identified. SCP-3208 has no smell and reports from people who have come into contact with it indicate that it cannot be felt, even during direct contact with skin. SCP-3208 can be streched infinitely and it sticks to most flat surfaces.
SCP-3208 when streched out, can remain in the air when stuck to a wall or a ceiling even if heavy weight is put on top of it. It will not lean or fall down as similar substances would.
SCP-3208 can be cut anywhere with no consequences, and all instances of SCP-3208 still retain the anamalous propety of being able to stretch on forever.
The Foundation obtained SCP-3208 after reports of "odd slime" being found in a school caught the attention of agents. Agent ██████ was sent to investigate and recovered SCP-3208.
Addendum: Additional Notes
SCP-3208 could be quite useful under the right circumstances. It is structurally weak but its ability to be forever duplicated might be used for building purposes. Using SCP-3208 as a containment box is out of the question, though. It can easily be destroyed or distorted in a way that would no doubt be useless in the face of containing a non-safe class object.
Addendum: Test Log 1/A
Test parameters: Subject D-61024 was told to stretch SCP-3208 as far as possible.
Result: Discontinued after approximately 3 hours of D-61024 pulling on SCP-3208 to stretch it, the entire room was filled with nothing but SCP-3208.
Notes: This took a while to clean up. We need to get more staff if we're going to do more experiments with SCP-3208.
