Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5070 is contained within 50x50 reinforced electrified fence with a layer of steel fence that is approximately 60cm away from the electrical fence found in Sector-04 at site-19. The Fences are surrounded by automatic gun turrets with 7x64mm rounds, thermal sensors, and facial recognition systems. They will only shoot if an entity that isn’t registered in its facial recognition is spotted by its sensors.
When SCP-5070 is under testing, personnel have only a maximum of 5 minutes of exposure to SCP-5070, failure to comply with this containment procedure will likely result of the creation of SCP-5070-1.
In the event of the creation of SCP-5070-1 under no circumstance should the subject encounter any personnel. Failure to do so will likely result in more generation of SCP-5070-1.
In the event of a SCP-5070-1 creation, the target must be terminated via Gunshot to the brain.
Description:
SCP-5070 is a Spherical object with the face of █████ ███████, being 5m in diameter. Subject appears docile if left in solitude, but quickly become obsessed with whatever creature it’s in contact with SCP-5070 and start chasing the organism until the organism is in range to be affected by SCP-4909 resulting in a generation of an SCP-5070-1.
SCP-5070-1 are created when an organism has been in proximity with SCP-5070. The organism's face molds into one of the faces found on SCP-5070. SCP-5070-1 becomes docile. They will crouch down then start crying. The organism seems to keep memories of the host in which it mumbles about in the host life. As a result, the host will become emotional which in turn leaves them in a depressed state. SCP-5070-1 can be made from any living organisms that contain facial features
Addendum: 5070.1: Discovery
SCP-5070 was discovered when multiple calls were made regarding animals with humanoid facial features being found in the hills of South Australia. MTF ETA-10 See No Evil was sent to investigate and contain these anomalies. many instances of SCP-5070-1 were found, all resembling each other. The Animals body structure did not change, neither did the face depending on what animal it was.
MTF see no evil approached one of the anomalies. It charged at the task force but was swiftly killed and captured for studying. Contact with SCP-5070 was established, it quickly chased down the MTF until the subject was trapped in a large steel cage. There were no casualties, but many of the MTF were psychologically harmed showing signs of depression, they were treated with class A anesthetics.
