SCP-1111 has been purchased by the Foundation and is to remain closed to the public under the guise of being unsafe for habitation. Testing is permitted and is to be carried out under the supervision of Level 3 Personnel.
Description:
SCP-1111 is a three story apartment building located in Chicago, Illinois, comprised of seven apartments, a lobby/ foyer area, managers office, basement facilities and attic space. Despite being constructed in 1968, SCP-1111 did not display anomalous activity until recently, when automated surveillance of local law enforcement and paramedic services flagged the building as the site of numerous identical callouts, leading to the discovery of SCP-1111's anomalous effects.
SCP-1111 effects the behaviour of a significant percentage of people residing or working within it, based on age, sex, and living situations within the building. Individuals residing in SCP-1111 experience significantly altered behaviour in a wide variety of "Scenarios" which closely match non-anomalous events and crimes that took place within the building prior to the manifestation of SCP-1111s anomalous effect. These Scenarios are influenced by the number, sex and age of those effected, but not their personalities. To date, ten major scenarios have been recorded, though lesser examples of altered behaviour have been observed, typically regarding visitors of residents or witnesses of events. Lesser alterations to behaviour are typically marked by confusion, apathy and an inability to locate SCP-1111s exits.
Small brick and mortar Appartment building consisting of 4 (5?) rented apartments, a lobby/ foyer with separate office area and basement. Previously non anomalous, suddenly inhabitants began behaving in ways similar to numerous incidents that occurred within the building in the past. Persons visiting the building often display significant confusion if they remain for longer than a few hours, and are unable to locate the exits of the structure.
Scenarios played out within the building appear to be dependent on the age, sex and number of occupants within a given space, with events triggering when enough occupants satisfy the requirements of a scenario.
Addendum-1: SCENARIOS
Dating couple: Dog vanishes, one member of the couple begins treating the other as a dog. Made to sleep in cage, eat and drink from bowl, toilet outside, wear leash and collar. subjucated partner will gradually begin to believe that they are a canine. The effect is anomalous and requires amnestics to fix.
Obsessive drinker: Single young adult, attractive, usually an "Influencer" will become obsessed with consuming milk to the extent of neglecting all else. numerous orders of milk will be placed, they will drink it until their stomach ruptures. Coincides with massively decreased frontal lobe mass.
Lonely person seeks friend/dollmaker: A lonely person tries to get people into their place, won't let them leave, citing friendship, even if they are strangers. Results in them holding them captive via sewwing/ nailing them to furniture and feeding them until they expire. Bodies are discarded via garbage chute and replaced by more victims. Dollmaker does similar, but removes vocal chords and bones within victims extremities for a child to play with as a doll.
Human testing: Only in attic space, single occupant abducts people, runs anomalous tests. Remains disposed of down the kitchen sink. Ends in researcher vanishing, occasional mutant in the hallways.
Landlord: Lobby/ foyer worker will typically begin running drug/ weapon/ smuggling operations from their office, but with no supply chain, they just send crates stuffed with their chosen merchandise to random locations.
Voyeur: Appartment 2 forms holes in the walls and floor, where the occupant will observe all neighbors. they will obsessively observe all around them, hoarding binoculars etc. will progress into them forcing themselves into the air ducts and pipes of the building, moving about the spy on the other occupants. physical disfiguration and augmentation to accomadate their vent dwelling lifestyle are common eg centipede legs, more eyes.
Basement: Something fucky with the basement.
