Item #: XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure storage locker in Site-64. Personnel are to be only allowed to come in contact with SCP-XXXX if directed to for either testing or research. All escaped instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be immediately terminated to prevent spreading of SCP-XXXX-3. Any bodies remaining of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be cremated and returned back to SCP-XXXX-1.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 8' by 8' green and white fleece blanket, made up of cotton, nylon, and 8 other materials unknown to man at the moment, though seemingly originating from SCP-XXXX-1. When SCP-XXXX is placed over a subject, the subject will immediately fall asleep and proceed to have their conscience transferred to a separate realm, herby known as SCP-XXXX-1. When a subject's conscience is transferred, the conscience seems to be transferred to a small rodent like animal, which will be hereby known as SCP-XXXX-4 Weighing 2 - 3 lb. The fur of SCP-XXXX-4 is a deep dark green, with the eyes of SCP-XXXX-4 being a very deep blue.
SCP-XXXX-4 has a long black hat made of the skin of instances of SCP-XXXX-2, the hats of SCP-XXXX-4 have unknown marking written in powdered dried moss and gold. When any instance of SCP-XXXX-4 attempts to remove the hat, the subject will wake up from SCP-XXXX-1 and be transported into our plane of existence.
During testing period ███-██, D-█████ was told to try and bring a knife for protection. When D-█████ fell asleep, the knife turned into a human femur though in our plane the knife stayed the same and remained in D-█████'s hand.
SCP-XXXX-2 is an almost exact copy of SCP-XXXX-4, though the fur is black and the eyes are as well. SCP-XXXX-2 also has a hat but it is made of the skin of instances of SCP-XXXX-4. The head researchers are currently awaiting approval of testing if dying in SCP-XXXX-1 will terminate the subject currently occupying SCP-XXXX-4. SCP-XXXX-2's hat is matt black with also unknown symbols on it written with powdered bones of SCP-XXXX-4 and dirt. Studies show that the two species (SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-4) are in a war. Studies also show that any subject falling asleep under SCP-XXXX will only be transferred to an instance of SCP-XXXX-4, never SCP-XXXX-2.
SCP-XXXX-2 does have a way to escape. When a subject falls asleep, a brief wormhole to SCP-XXXX-1 will open, hereby known as SCP-XXXX-5. SCP-XXXX-5 is at least 2' (Two feet) in diameter, and at most 8' (Eight feet) in diameter. During the materialization of an instance of SCP-XXXX-5, SCP-XXXX-2 has a 0.8 second chance to jump from their reality to ours. Whilst an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 is in our reality, it has the chance to carry a strand of a respiratory virus, hereby known as SCP-XXXX-6. The symptoms of SCP-XXXX-6 are as follows:
| SYMPTOM | RARITY | LETHAL |
|---|---|---|
| COUGH | 9-10 CASES | N |
| VOMITING | 7-10 CASES | N |
| FEVER | 8-10 CASES | Y |
| DISSYNES | 10-10 CASES | N |
| SWEATING | 10-10 CASES | N |
| FATIGUE | 7-10 CASES | N |
| EXTREME FATIGUE | 4-10 CASES | Y |
A vaccine for SCP-XXXX-6 is currently being experimented with and is in the late stages of development.
