Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be monitored by no less that four foundation personnel during all opening hours of Hong-Kong Disneyland. Any instances of SCP-XXXX-3 leaving SCP-XXXX-1 are to be monitored and administered amnestics upon release from SCP-XXXX-2 after being interviewed by a foundation scientist

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 refers to the anomalous space located within the Mystic Manor in Hong-Kong Disneyland. SCP-XXXX-1's entrance will appear whenever a human who is not currently a citizen of China enters the queue for Mystic Manor. The entrance will appear to be a part of the queue for the Mystic Manor ride that diverges from its normal path. this path will lead to the "back door" of the ride, which is the entrance to SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-1 is non-euclidean and resembles the Haunted Mansion rides located in the non-Chinese Disney parks. Initially the layout of the ride resembles the Haunted Mansion found in Disneyworld. these parts of the ride however do not uses special effects like their counterparts, instead achieving their "illusions" through anomalous means.

• A room full of stairways stretching out a seemingly endless distance. Proposal for a team to explore these stairways pending approval from the O5 council.
• A room full of marble busts who turn their heads towards the nearest living human. Chemical analysis determined that the busts are made of normal marble. Busts show no other signs of sentience.
• An endless hallway
• A Style S Upright Grand Piano, playing on its own despite no internal mechanisms usually found in self-playing pianos.
• A floating crystal ball, within this ball is the head of "madame leota" who chants a spell similar to the one in the other Disney parks, except she will switch between English and Mandarin intermittently.
• A ballroom scene featuring twenty instances of SCP-XXXX-2.
• An attic featuring an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 holding a hatbox, whose head will intermittently disappear and reappear within said box.

In place of the graveyard scene found in the original haunted mansion there is instead a traditional Chinese graveyard populated with ███ instances of SCP-XXXX-2. The graveyard is decorated with various lanterns and the SCP-XXXX-2 are participating in festivities with aspects similar to many ghost festivals practiced in East Asia.

SCP-XXXX-2 are ███ sapient "ghosts", all of whom appear to be of Chinese descent. They are friendly and willing to communicate with foundation scientists, however most only speak various dialects of Chinese, and some speak ancient dialects that are hard to translate. There are currently ███ instances of SCP-XXXX-2 that speak dialects that are too difficult to translate.

Interviewer: Dr. Christine Zhao, an expert on Chinese history who is in charge of communicating with instances of SCP-XXXX-2. It is to be of not that Dr. Zhao was born in Canada, and that instances of SCP-XXXX-2 refuse to communicate with researchers born in China.

Foreword: Interview was conducted in Mandarin and has been translated.

Dr. Zhao: Hello SCP-XXXX-2-███, could you state your name and date of birth

SCP-XXXX-2-███: my name is ██████ Chen, and I was born a century ago. I do not remember a date.

Dr. Zhao: And you are dead?

SCP-XXXX-2-███: yes.

Dr. Zhao: When did you die?

SCP-XXXX-2-███: During a great famine, it was supposed to be a time of great prosperity, but so many of us died

Dr. Zhao: How did you end up here?

SCP-XXXX-2-███: After so many deaths, there were too many of us. The government wanted all of us gone. At first they were not successful, but then they came with the machines.

Dr. Zhao: What were the machines?

SCP-XXXX-2-███: Horrible devices that would suck us up and tear us into many pieces, so once one of us would exit it, they would disperse into the wind.

Dr. Zhao: And how did that lead you here?

SCP-XXXX-2-███: We were desperate and he took us in.

Dr. Zhao: who is "he"?

SCP-XXXX-2-███: The host of this house, he came here and saw our plight, so he hid us from the horrible machines. He taught us how to possess others so we may escape.

Dr. Zhao: And why do you possess people?

SCP-XXXX-2-███: So we can leave, the machines cannot hurt us if we are tethered to mortal flesh, just like they cannot hurt you. All we want is to escape from them.

Dr. Zhao: thank you, that is all

Closing Statement: Collaboration with other instances of SCP-XXXX-2 indicate that the "host" mentioned lines up with the Ghost Host that narrates the rides in Orlando and Anaheim. Additionally investigation indicates that the GOC has collaborated with the Chinese government in some capacity to create the device mentioned in this interview.

Upon finishing the ride, subjects will become possessed with an instance of SCP-XXXX-2, who will then attempt to leave the country. such subjects are to be designated SCP-XXXX-3 until released from SCP-XXXX-2.
