Special Containment Procedures:
•This document may only be shown to site personnel, via the site manager.
•SCP-4154 is to be kept at site ██ and under constant surveillance.
•Any unauthorised personnel trying to come into contact with SCP-4154 is to be removed from the site and given amnestics, or terminated.
•Only four guards can be assigned to SCP-4154 at any time, two for a day shift and two for a night shift.
•If any guards or personnel are to leave site ██ then they are to be given amnestics before departure unless otherwise instructed by the site manager.
Description:
SCP-4154 is a white gelatinous entity emitting a soft glow. Its primary function is to alter the minds of living beings, specifically their beliefs. However, to do so it must first come into contact with a life form with free will and high intelligence. Once SCP-4154 comes into contact with such a life form (ie. a human or humanoid being) it will proceed to envelop that part of the body (ie. hand, torso, head). Once fully enveloped it will proceed to absorb into that part of the body and a mark resembling [REDACTED] will be left behind in a specific place depending on where the entity contacted the being. Said being will then gain SCP-4154's ability to alter the beliefs of any Living entity regardless of its will or intelligence. SCP-4154 will not latch on to anything lacking free will or high intelligence.
addendum:
SCP-4154 does not take control of its host or alter it in any way, this leads the foundation to believe that it was originally designed or made to be a weapon. Possibly used to change the allegiance of entire armies. we recognise this and have put measures in place to keep knowledge, and possible access, of SCP-4154 to a minimum.
SCP-4154 also shows signs of empathy or sorrow for those who are forced to serve other anomalous beings against their will. Usually choosing to suffocate these subjects rather than ignore them.
