Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a 16’ by 16’ container at all times. This ceiling of this container will be 6” reinforced plexiglass and will have full exposure to the sun at all hours of the day. SCP-XXXX will be been assigned a service dog (trained for therapy) to keep it out of depression. A one-way mirror is to be installed in SCP-XXXX’s container as well.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid creature standing at a meager 5’5” tall and weighing 110 pounds. However, it has features of various organisms across the animal, plant, and fungal kingdoms. Most notably it has ears similar to a wolf's (species unknown), eyes of a goat (species unknown), and the torso of an ape (species unknown).
Samples taken from SCP-XXXX have shown it has traces of DNA from over ten thousand (10,000) different animal species, fifteen thousand (15,000) plant species and five thousand (5,000) fungal species.
While SCP-XXXX cannot communicate directly with humans, it has shown intelligence similar to a bonobo. It has proven to be able to solve basic puzzles and games.
It has shown to be docile, though shows signs of mild depression when isolated from all forms of life and natural sunlight. It's mood improves subtly when exposed to natural sunlight and much more so when exposed to macroscopic plant, animal, or fungal organisms. However, when exposed to humans, SCP-XXXX becomes incredibly violent. SCP-XXXX will attack any human with intent to kill. When exposed to any dead organism (excluding humans), it will go into a deep depression and begins making a high pitch whimpering sound. It will stay in this state for up to six (6) hours if exposure is continued, or up to one (1) hour if exposure is not continued. However, this depression will succeed immediately if SCP-XXXX is introduced to a living human. The depression will be replaced by rage and SCP-XXXX will attack.
SCP-XXXX does not exhibit any strength above the normal for its height and weight. It does, however, have incredible agility. During testing, it was observed leaping 15.7 (fifteen point seven) feet directly into the air and running 98.8 (ninety-eight point eight) Miles per hour. It is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX is able to move at these speeds.
SCP-XXXX refuses any food the Foundation was able to provide. It seems the only sustenance SCP-XXXX is able to absorb is sunlight, which it converts to nutrients through the use of photosynthesis. While infrared rays do not contain enough energy to sustain SCP-XXXX, ultraviolet rays contain too much and are detrimental to it as well. Therefore, natural sunlight is the only viable option to sustain.
