Special Containment Procedures: SCP-350 can be contained in a room of any size though a 6m x 6m containment facility is recommended as the creature is highly mobile and would start getting extremely violent if the containment area is too small, it is also recommended that the walls be made of special bulletproof glass so that foundation members be able to see what it is upto, the room should be furnished with furniture that you find in an old living room from the 1940s era as that was the area this subject was first found in, while this is not a must it is recommended for optimal research purposes.
Infrared cameras must be placed on all four sides of the room as the creature can camouflage so well that it can mimic even manmade materials and appears to disappear, as such this is an absolute requirement, like almost all mammals it displays a heat signature and its approximate location can be tracked that way, research has shown that it requires no sustenance so feeding is not required though it is allowed for research purposes.
It can be taken down with a standard tranquilizer gun with doses similar to those required for a cat or dog, it is recommended that agents be fitted with infrared equipment in the event that it does choose to camouflage, it is also recommended that agents travel in groups when taking it down.
Description: SCP-350 is slightly larger than a large specimen of a labrador however it is physically much stronger as it has shown capability of lifting a grown man from a higher vantage point and dragging them across with incredible speed, its top speed has not been recorded, it is capable of walking on vertical flat surfaces like a gecko however upon closer examination it is determined that its feet do not possess the tiny hairs that geckos require for this action or even any of the biological tools we see in nature that can perform similar actions, SCP-350 is capable of sticking to ceilings using just the smaller surface area of its "hands" however how this is done is currently unknown, further research is underway.
SCP-350 appears grey in its default appearance however it can camouflage into whatever background material there is even glass, making it extremely hard for the eye to discern when it does so, it possess four limbs the front two being longer whilst the back two being slightly shorter, each limb has a "hand" with 3 digits that can be used for grabbing and digging, each digit has a claw about 1 inch in length, the grip strength is quite considerable, able to crush a steel pole.
SCP-350's ears are pointy and large relative to head size which suggests that the creature possesses superb hearing but no such instance of it being used for this purpose has been observed, eyes are as expected extremely large as it is a nocturnal creature, it possesses extreme agility, comparable to or even greater than the most agile monkeys.
SCP-350 appears to whisper in an unknown "language" however it is not decipherable, constant exposure to this whispering results in extreme irritation in human subjects, this capability was thus tested on other subjects with sentience but only seems to affect great apes so far, it is currently unknown as to why this is the case but further controlled experiments are undergoing.
Addendum: Researches have claimed to have spotted SCP-350 sometimes walking upright and trying what appeared to be communication with them however this cannot be ascertained.
SCP-350 was found in an old abandoned house by two boys who reported screaming but never witnessed the creature, the site is now locked down with multiple guards stationed and the story being dismissed as a "hoax", no civilians are allowed near the area, further research is being done on the origins of the subject with no conclusive evidence so far.
SCP-350 appears to be displaying more intelligence as the years go by.
