SCP-XXXX
Object Class-Euclid
Special Containment Procedures-SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a 2x2x2 white plastic box which itself is to be kept in a 5x5x5 hermetically sealed glass container. 1(one) standard, functional video camera is to be viewed from the on-site control room and checked every hour. SCP-XXXX has been determined to be a contignohazard (direct viewing only, researchers viewing through camera equipment found themselves unaffected) and therefore must only be removed during approved testing periods by personnel with low-sight visors. Due to its nature, access has been restricted to personnel with Level 03 clearance and above.
Description-SCP-XXXX is a black iPhone 8 with a glossy black case. It appears to contain some sort of energy recycler, rendering charging it unnecessary. SCP-XXXX, on the surface, serves as a normal iPhone, able to text, make calls, and play games. When observed, subjects who view SCP-XXXX directly will be compelled to pick it up and use it. Once physical contact has been made, affected subjects will claim it as their own. Subjects who claim SCP-XXXX have not been initially been seen to undergo any significant changes. It's true anomalous nature comes into play when a subject drops, scratches, or damages SCP-XXXX in any way, shape, or form. In these instances, the subject will invariably incur damage proportionate to that done to SCP-XXXX. Resultant damage has been shown to appear in a small time frame, ranging from immediate to 2.5-3 minutes, seemingly depending on the severity of the damage done. For more information, see Test Logs XXXX.
Addendum 2/6: Dr. ██████, Test Log A
Subject: D-49325
Subject placed in the containment chamber with SCP-XXXX out of its boxes. Subject exposed to the contignohazard and makes physical contact, claiming SCP-XXXX. Subject was directed to stand and drop the entity from shoulder height. Subject protested before doing so. SCP-XXXX landed on its side, bounced, and comes to rest on the floor.
Result-Exactly 3(three) minutes afterward, the subject found that he had a deep black and blue bruise spanning the entire height of his torso. Subject escorted back to his cell and treated for the bruise, SCP-XXXX returned to containment.
Addendum 3/22: Dr. ██████, Test Log B
Subject: D-67436
Subject placed into containment chamber, exposed to the entity, and given a screwdriver. After claiming SCP-XXXX, the subject was instructed to lightly scratch the middle of the screen in a horizontal line with the screwdriver.
Result-Within a matter of 1.5 minutes, the subject reported a slight burning sensation followed by pain on the surface of his chest. Upon looking at the area, it seemed the subject had been lightly scratched horizontally across the area with no apparent physical cause. D-67436 led back to his cell and SCP-XXXX was returned to containment.
Addendum 4/15: Dr. █████████, Test Log C
Subject: D-16894
Test to determine the extent of SCP-XXXX's injury transmission. Subject exposed to SCP-XXXX before being separated from the entity and observed in an isolated cell. SCP-XXXX was promptly taken to the nearest active Tesla Gate by protected personnel and placed in the activation zone.
Result-As the Tesla Gate's electricity seemingly fried the inner components of SCP-XXXX, security personnel stationed at the involved D-Class's cell reported that the subject began convulsing violently and gurgling before collapsing to the floor. Vital scans came back negative, and further autopsy reports showed extensive internal damage and arced burns similar to those caused by a fatal lightning strike. Tesla Gate was disabled and SCP-XXXX was retrieved by protected personnel in seemingly perfect working order and returned to containment.
Addendum 5/5: Dr.██████, Test Log D
Subjects: 2(two) D-Class Personnel (D-06895 & D-99574)
Test to determine if SCP-XXXX can affect multiple subjects at once. Both subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX and made physical contact with the entity. Subjects proceeded to engage in a heated argument as to whom the entity belonged to, and had to be separated by Site ███ security personnel when one put the other in a headlock. Both subjects were escorted to separate standard chambers before a protected Foundation security personnel was instructed to stab a pair of needle nose plier into the screen.
Quote from Researcher ██████,
"We don't really know what will happen here. We've brought several variables into play. Based off of past experiments, God only knows the amount of damage will or won't happen to the D-Classes."
Result- DATA EXPUNGED
Notes-Possible disposal method for SCP-682, further research is necessary.
