Staff and Facility Directions: If SCP-4237 were to ever remove the eye-patch and open it’s left eye while within the facility then the emergency shut down procedures will commence. All lights within the west wing of the facility will be shut off immediately. Foundation personnel are given night-vision goggles and are instructed to sedate SCP-4237 as quickly as possible to prevent any extensive damage to the facility and are specifically ordered to avoid coming within eye contact or visible sight of SCP-4237 if lights are on.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a glass eye that latches on to a host .

The iris is blue, bearing an identical hue to that of people with the OCA2 blue-eye gene mutation. with a circumfrence of 75.4mm

If SCP-4237 were to open it’s left eye a small shockwave would be released, damaging anything with a 50m radius. All living organisms within the shockwave’s radius will die instantly and their bodies will begin to [DATA REDACTED], leaving no physical trace. After this initial shockwave any living thing that comes within visible range of SCP-4236 will also suffer the same fate. SCP-4237’s left eye will not blink once it has been opened. If their are no living things in sight SCP-4237 will then start to slowly disintegrate the area around it in a constantly increasing radius. It is unclear the range of this disintegration but the farthest distance measured was a 5 mile crater in diameter found in [DATA REDACTED] prior to containment. However if in complete darkness SCP-4237 is unable to harm any personnel or the facility aside from the initial shockwave.

The subject appears to have no intention of removing the eye-patch and is cooperative with facility staff. In the few rare occurrences that SCP-4237’s eye patch came off it would begin to look for an object like a knife or scissors and attempt to rip it’s left eye out. All objects used in these attempts were broken when they came into contact with the eye. Several suicide attempts by SCP-4237 were made but it appears that the subject is unable to die and any damage inflicted on it heals almost immediately.

Addendum: Discovery
SCP-4237 was discovered in the [EXPONGED] mountain range in [EXPONGED] after a sudden dead zone was located when foundation personnel discoverd an area where all Life seemed to be nonexistent. Several recovery teams were sent to retrieve SCP-4237 to stop the destruction. The casualty rate was incredibly high but the teams were finally able to sedate SCP-4237 and brought him into the facility.

Elevator Pitch:

Jazz Club that appears in different locations around New York if there aren't enough patrons who enter at a given night
The doors open at 9:00 P.M. and teh jazz musicians begin playing music at 10:00 P.M. and it apperas to attract people who hear it outside the building
The doors of the club close at 12:19:20 A.M. and cannot be openned from the inside or outside
At 12:19:20 A.M. the musicians play the jazz song Dead Man Blues. Over song duration, their flesh begins to rapidly decay until only their skeletons remain. But both the musicians and and audience continue as if nothing abnormal is happening.
The musicians, now skeletons, play faster jazz over the course of 18 minutes, the audience experiences the same flesh decay and also become skeletons with no visable signs of pain
After the music ends the lights in the club shut off and the skeletons of the patrons fall to the ground
When the doors reopen again the remains of patrons are no where to be seen
Patrons who hate jazz experiance unbearable fear as they watch the musicians' flesh decay
- They also experiance intense pain as their own flesh decays over the 18 minute time span

Central Narrative:
After hearing several reports of mass disaperances across New York City, the Foundation sends personnel to a popular namless jazz club that appeared seemingly overnight. 3 Foundation personnel entered the club but only 1 reported back who left before 12:19:20 A.M. and was unable to re-enter as the entry doors were sealed shut. The doors open the next night with signs of the patrons or the 2 Foundation personnel anywhere in the club. The Foundation then sends more personnel to form a perimeter under the guise of construction. Even with no one inside the doors still close at 12:19:20 A.M. But the doors instead crack open after 10 minutes. After entering the building, the club that was initially seen by the Foundation officer was gone, the door only leading them down a hallway stopping at a brick wall.

Hook/Attention-Grabber:

The jazz music attracts people like moths to a flame and provide a state of euphoria when it is listened to.
The musicians are still able to play instruments like the trumpet and trumbone even as skeletons
The audience are even more euphoric as their flesh melts and many even go dancing even though it would be biologically impossible do to their decaying state
