Item #: scp-XXXX

Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: scp-XXXX is to be contained at Site-19 in a passcode-protected safe when not undergoing testing. The passcode is accessible to researchers of Level 2 clearance with written permission from class 4 personell or Dr. Jensen. Currency generated from item is to be stored in locker 18-b-5. Each instance of scp-XXXX-03 is to be kept in groups of no more than four (4), with each group housed in a Class 3 Anomalous Item Storage Unit guarded by armed personnel at all times. Following Incident T-XXXX-14 access is to be restricted to class 3 and higher. All tests are to be monitored remotely by the research personnel. To conclude the test, a Class 0 HM Manipulator Arm will be used to remove the item from its position. Any other action taken to alter scp-XXXX in its active state will result in termination.

Description: scp-XXXX consists of a 24 x 14 x 2.5 cm wooden board that reads "OPEN" printed in large red letters1, a rusted iron wire measuring 31 cm tied to both ends of the board, and one yellow adhesive note affixed to the "OPEN" side. The note appears handwritten and reads "NO out of town checks! (will require management approval)".

Upon further inspection, the wooden board shows no wear around the binds of the iron wire, and has proved impervious to both deterioration and damage. Likewise, the wire is While the adhesive note can be obscured, all attempts to remove it have been unsuccessful.

scp-XXXX enters its active state when the following parameters are met:

  1. The item is suspended by its wire. The object supporting the item must be non-biological in nature. This was determined after Dr. Jensen held scp-XXXX by its wire for several minutes, to no effect.
  2. The item must be within 1.2 meters of a room in moderate upkeep. The room in question must not have any imperfections that exceed approximately 74 square centimeters. This includes cracks, bullet holes and perceptible stains of any kind. Any number of doors and/or windows are permitted.
  3. The orientation of scp-XXXX's blank side determines what room is held to the standards specified in Parameter 2.

When scp-XXXX enters its active state, instances of scp-XXXX-02 begin to enter the room specified in Parameter 2 through any means of entry. Said instances are invisible, but may be viewed with ultraviolet or infrared cameras. They are seen as large entities standing upright and wrapped completely in dull white cloth with five (5) thin human-like legs. Reports claim that no facial details can be determined, but as many as five (5) thin arms can be seen when interacting with items in the room. Instances have also been observed moving through objects and D-class test subjects with little to no interference.

In all recorded tests, instances of scp-XXXX rush throughout the room at a rapid pace, locating items of value and stowing them away within their wrappings. Any object taken this way seems to disappear. Entities may utilize some form of "pocket space", as they have been observed taking objects as large as 2 meter long tables into themselves with no visible distention of their clothing. Immediately afterwards, entities will produce a small number of items designated scp-XXXX-03 and leave them where the item of value once lay. The entities will remain within the room for a length of time between 30 seconds to 2 minutes, varying on the amount of non-anomalous objects inside said room. During this time, all instances of scp-XXXX-02 remain within will exit the room by the same means it entered.

If the adhesive note is not obscured in the moment scp-XXXX-03 is placed within the room, the instances will instantly transform into a number of US bills and coins to equal the approximate value of the object taken by scp-XXXX-02. All pieces of currency produced this way is indistinguishable from regular US currency.

If the adhesive note is obscured in the moment scp-XXXX-03 is placed within the room, it
Each instance of scp-XXXX-03 is completely identical and wedge-like in shape, measuring 4 cm in width and 1 cm in height. Instances bear resemblance to a once spherical object split into radial fifths. Further testing reveal that instances of scp-XXXX-03 are composed of a colloid form of [DATA EXPUNGED]. A [DATA EXPUNGED] suspened inside. Attempts to join five (5) instances of scp-XXXX-03 have resulted in the [DATA EXPUNGED], hereby referred to as scp-XXXX-04. All forms of scp-XXXX-04 are to be contained within separate standard humanoid containment chambers outfitted with infant and juvenile amenities.
