Containment procedures:
SCP-5969 is to be kept in a airtight 2x2x5 meter cell located at site-10. If any personal below level 3 clearance comes into contact with or gains knowledge of SCP-5969’s existence, they are to be disposed of immediately. If immediate termination is not an option, they should be quarantined immediately as to not let others know of its existence. Their body should be burned and any trace of them is to be destroyed. A fake SCP-5969 page is to be uploaded to the database as to not let its existence be known.
Description:
SCP-5969 (Codename TOYO) is a golden ring with a pattern carved onto it resembling tire treads. When worn, TOYO adjusts to fit any finger except the thumb. The reasoning is unknown, even when the ring should fit, it shrinks just as it is about on. TOYO was first found in a middle school in Raleigh, nc. Where two middle schoolers were found dead with no visible signs of trauma except for their hands, which were black and charred. When worn, subjects have said they experienced extreme pain on the hand with the ring and have said to have seen themselves dying horrible deaths. Only two cases had different results. Testing results below.
| Test 1 | class-D(d-9084, 5’4, 134 lbs, no mental health issues) was told to put TOYO on. D-9084 said he felt scared and an extreme urge to destroy the ring. When put on, D-9084 collapsed and convulsed on the ground for exactly 2 minutes. Somehow, TOYO fell off and rolled into the corner of the room while emitting a high pitch noise. D-9084 stopped jerking and gained consciousness. D-9084’s right hand was burned severely and was starting to smoke. D-9084 was questioned about what happened and he said that envisioned himself being cut down by gunfire while something was screaming and sobbing behind him. 2 weeks later, SCP-096 breached containment and made it to d-block. Guards made it just in time to see D-class sprinting toward the guards as SCP-096 chased after one in particular. D-9084. After terminating the d-class, they successfully contained SCP-096. And reported the incident to lead researcher, Dr. gears. The connection was made and TOYO was made Euclid. |
