cortagus

Description: Cortagus causes no instant damage but instead creates spores which infect living creatures. Symptoms include: A fear of light, poor hearing, hallucinations, memory loss, an increased amount of sneezing, and an urge to consume more water, decomposing leaves, and animal waste. All symptoms last for about 2 months before the fungus either takes control of the brain or completely kills the host once they are in an area where it can grow, the former takes place more when a large outbreak happens where the infected individuals find water and decomposing organic matter for the fungus to grow.

Containment: When finding Cortagus be prepared for anything infected by its respective fungus to try and stop you from containing it. ALWAYS wear a hazmat suit, or at the very least ear plugs and making sure to keep your mouth closed. Its container should be made sure to not allow animals or people inside without a hazmat suit or for testing use. An air filter will be required to not allow spores to escape and should be kept in a dark moist location to keep it alive. To take extra precautions you can make sure to not use moisturizers and/or having recent contact with water.
