Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5237 requires to be kept in a metal room that is 5m by 5m by 8m. SCP-5237 is required to be given 4 rubber tires every 72 hours. feces are to be cleaned by D-class every 96 hours. failure to do either will possibly result in a containment breach.
Description: SCP-5237 is a tall humanoid anomaly, that sustains itself by eating the tires of cars. SCP-5237 will do one of two things with each tire it receives. both under different circumstances. the first being it will eat the entire tire, taking several bites as if it were a common food item. the second option would be, the SCP would only eat the metal part of the tire, and then wear the rubber. it is unknown how the rubber is attached to itself. but all attempts to remove it have been futile. once SCP-5237 has attached the rubber to itself, it will then act as its skin. the only visible parts that havent been covered with rubber, are its irregularly large ears, eyes, and mouth. SCP-5237 is approximated to stand at 7 meters tall, its arm length is 3.5 meters long. when SCP-5237 is recorded eating a tire, its mouth can expand up to 1.5 meters wide. SCP-5237 will slowly shed its rubber as time goes on, and the loss of too much rubber will result in SCP-5237 to search the area for rubber. Killing anything that may try to stop it. The feces of SCP-5237 have been shown to steadily turn into rubber. when SCP-5237 was captured, several smaller SCPs numbered as SCP-5237-2, were small rubber compositions of varying size, they were extremely hostile towards personnel. SCP-5237-2 is suspected to be made of SCP-5237s feces. it is unknown what will happen if SCP-5237-2 is allowed to grow.
Addendum: SCP-5237 has been given many nicknames by staff and personnel. Some of them include, Rubber man, Man of Rubber, and Rubber Gubber. SCP-5237 was found in a junkyard inside a structure built by the SCP. the structure was made of rubber, and no tires were found anywhere on the property. The owners were given class 5 anesthetics, and the junkyard was closed down. upon containment of SCP-5237, 3 personnel were killed. the first having accidentally stumbling into the den of SCP-5237. the second being killed after trying to save the first subject. and the third was killed when SCP-5237 attacked the subject. theories on this have proposed that "the subjects armor protection must have looked like rubber to the thing" as said by Dr.████.
