Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be occupied full time by Dedicated Task Force Lamda-# "Squatters". The structure may not be unoccupied for over 72 hours at any time.

Any replacement personnel attached to Lamda-# must make initial entrance to the structure in the company of at least two existing members present. Replacement personnel should not exit SCP-#### for 72 hours after arriving. All members attached to Lamba-# or researchers granted access to SCP-#### must score a minimum of 100 on the Rhyff Personal Wellbeing Scale (PWB-18) a minimum of 16 on the Positive Relations Subscale and 12 on the Environmental Mastery Subscale.

Foundation personnel assigned to occupy SCP-XXXX are to be psychologically evaluated in a bimonthly basis for continued clearance, special attention will be paid to interpersonal conflict and stress management.

Description: SCP-#### is a modern farmhouse originally completed in 2011. The structure is two stories, and 205.5 square meters according to the original floor plans.

The home was unoccupied from the completion of construction until an attempted demolition by new landowners in 2020.

The exterior structure of SCP-#### remains structurally consistent, however has displayed the ability to withstand direct force and fire damage (including full structure fire). The structure has displayed an ability to use its materials to change its interior configuration in a wide variety of ways. This includes color, design, and imaging of walls. Movement and reconfiguration of interior surfaces, and manipulating the small components (e.g. doors, boards, nails, etc).

The interior space does have spatial limitations according to observations by Lamda - #, however the layout, size, and appearance of the interior will change to suit to preferences of the current occupant. It is unclear how the structure perceives these desires, or parses the preferences of multiple inhabitants. The SCP has been observed to interpret its occupants desires state based on actions, interactions, and outward affect cues. SCP-#### will adapt itself to the individuals entering the structure in an apparent attempt to entice them to stay.

SCP-#### does not appear to have any desires or motives beyond serving its intended purpose: human habitation and comfort, as it perceives it.

Jackson: Alright, based on the interview with the lead contractor, the house has resisted direct force and fire damage, and directly resisted entry by the demo team. We're probably dealing with a run of the mill spook holed up in there, but don't get caught sleeping on it.

Carter: Landlord has provided front and rear entry keys, according to the contractor out best shot at an easy entry is to try multiple breaches at once. Bronte, you and I will take back door and window while Jackson and Santiago attempt the a front entrance.

Santiago: We're dealing with potentially lethal force in there, right?

Jackson: Confirm, demo team reported projectiles being hurled from unseen assailaints, has explosions set off in the kitchen, and two fatalities when a ceiling dropped on the workers in the front living room. Keep in mind the ceiling out itself back where it belonged once the guys were pancakes and the contractors all shutting their pants on the front lawn. There is the potential for it to get super weird in there.

Bronte: No shit, when does this job not get "super wierd"? Super weird is all I eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fuck me if I get eaten up by some stupid house with the ghost bug.

Santiago: Little frayed there, Bront-o?

Bronte: Eat it, Henry.

Jackson: Cut the chatter guys. This shouldn't be too bad. I'm and out, we are what's cooped up in there and file the report. Let some poor sons of notches come scrub the place out and put it back on the market. Primary directive is to map out the house and detail any threats still live in there. Second is to determine, if possible, what we have on our hands on there.

Carter: Poltergeist looking likely as of now, we'll see.

JAckson: Everyone cool? Okay. Carter and Bronte head for the rear breaches. Santiago on me.

(#-1 and #-2 move to the main entryway and Jackson places the key in the front deadlock, #-3 and #-4 take up positions at the rear kitchen door and window)

Jackson: Breach in: 3-2-1… go

(As she turns the key, Jackson finds no resistance as the door swings open effortless and she and #-2 enter the structure.)
(#-3 attempts to break the rear kitchen window, succeeding only in cracking a corner portion of it before #-4 calls the open rear door to her attention)

Bronte: Real fucking clever Carter. Resistance to trauma on the structure somewhat confirmed, anyway.

Carter: Just don't jump out of your skin, Bront-o. Hey, maybe you can ask the director of he'll let you squat here for a while since your old man got sick of your ass.

Bronte: I swear to god, today isn't the day to test me Carter keep your shot up.

Jackson: Stuff the cross talk, both of you. This is unprofressional. We all have our days, let's just get this done. Keep the channel clear and eyes up before someone gets hurt.

(Carter and Bronte move through the kitchen, noting the smell in the kitchen is a mixture of seared flesh and drying paint.)
Bronte: There's something on the walls in here.
(Carter turns his flashlight on the north kitchen wall where visible is a crude drawing of an elongated humour face with a distorted gaped mouth and three stick figure humans hanging out of its jaw.)
Bronte: Shit, look here
(Swining their flashlights along the inner wall, #-3 and #-4 note a series of countless pairs of eyes scrawled haphazardly into the wall paint. As they move toward the southern facing wall the eye paintings are emerging from the background paint one by one)
Carter: it's still drying. #-1 we've got something in here.

(#-1 and #-2 step through the living room and enter the kitchen, while passing through the threshold #-2 hesitates while waiting for Jackson to clear. A crack is heard on the audio followed by the sound of forced air as Santiago is whipped backwards into the living room. Body camera footage picks up a single ceiling board returning to its place as he falls to the floor)

Bronte: What the hell was that?

Jackson: Contact rear, #-2 report.

Santiago: I'm fine, I'm all good. I don't see anything though.
