These documents are to be compiled and stored for future reference.

Description: SCP-XXXX designates the spontaneous manifestation of official military reports, personal journal entries, and photographs detailing an anomalous version of the Battle of Huế in military records of the United States Armed Forces and the People's Army of Vietnam. Part of the 1968 Tet Offensive, one of the largest military campaigns of the greater Vietnam War, the Battle of Huế was fought against the North Vietnamese People's Army of Vietnam and the guerrilla organization the Viet Cong. Documents created by SCP-XXXX deviate from accurate historical accounts after 1968-03-03, at which point fighting does not cease. According to these documents, the Battle of Huế, as of 2019-07-01, has not ended for fifty-one years, five months, and one day.

Documents affected by SCP-XXXX detail the protracted fighting between the belligerents of the battle.
Individuals who are said to have been killed in action are mentioned in later documents as if they were still alive, thus prolonging the alleged conflict.

Surveillance nets deployed on living veterans involved in the Battle of Huế regardless of allegiance has revealed no extant anomalies. However, these veterans are reported to unanimously suffer from significant personality changes, including depression, anxiety, and agitation.
