Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a container with the walls, ceiling, and floor made of mirrors. No other objects are to be placed within the container. It is safe for personnel to enter the container, as long as they do not make physical contact with SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a creature which can take the shape of any object. It will turn into an object which the observer has not noticed before. For example, say a person goes to work everyday and one day sees a plant in the entrance that they had not noticed before. This object could be SCP-XXXX in the shape of said plant. It is important to refrain from physical contact with SCP-XXXX. Upon contact, blisters will form rapidly on the observer, which will start to burn and and cause the observer's skin to decay. SCP-XXXX can not transform into a mirror which is why it is kept inside a mirrored container, where it takes the form of a dark sphere which levitates and stays in one place.
Test Log:
Test One:
November 17th, 2018
13:17 - Dr. ███████ enters the container. SCP-XXXX does not appear to move. Dr. ███████ moves in circles around SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX does not react in anyway.
13:19 - Dr. ███████ leaves the container.
Test Two:
December 5th, 2018
11:57 - Dr. ██████████ enters the container, bearing a small wooden table. He places it inside the container.
11:56 - Dr. ██████████ leaves the cell.
11:59 - Uninformed of the presence of the table within the cell, Subject 1 enters with a piece of raw beef. Subject one notices the table and carefully places the raw beef onto the table. The beef appears to turn black as small crusty bumps spread around it. A loud sizzling sound comes from the beef and it pulverizes into black crumbs, resembling ashes.
12:10 - Dr. ██████████ re-enters the cell to remove the crumbs. The contact with the table does not affect him and he leaves the cell.
The ash-like substance was later examined to be burnt flesh with small traces of lead, lead dioxide, and sulfuric acid.
Second SCP
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept at Bio Research Site-104 in Unit ██. It is to be surrounded by a chain-link fence with barbed wire. Personnel are only to enter the unit via the catwalks, located 20 feet above the site. All personnel must be attached to the railing of the catwalk with a harness, dynamic rope, and a locking gate carabiner. Personnel should also be wearing earplugs or noise blocking earmuffs.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large patch of roots of unknown origin. There are no plants in the area and the roots appear to come out of the ground. SCP-XXXX releases a monotone sound playing at around 5000 Hz. Normally, the tone is at around 115 dB. Once a carbon-based life form comes within 10 feet of the site, the sound goes to 120 dB and increases as the subject gets closer, peaking at around 140 dB. Subjects who enter the premises will immediately start to get a headache as the sound starts to reach 120 dB and may suffer temporary hearing damage lasting up to two months. Due to the harmful sound released from SCP-XXXX, subjects have been known to collapse and hold their hands over their ears. If a subject comes within at least 5 feet of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX will grab the subject and rapidly pull the subject into the cluster, often tearing off limbs, breaking bones, or squeezing certain body parts. The subject will be digested by SCP-XXXX until no trace of the subject remains. SCP-XXXX has been found to have grow in size roughly 2 days after digesting a subject.
