Item #: SCP-####
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is to be contained in standard anomalous weapons storage at Site-19. Usage of SCP-#### is punishable with 4 months suspension of testing privileges. Any instances of SCP-####-2 are to be terminated via normal D-class disposal procedure. Any instances of SCP-####-3 are to be destroyed via non anomalous weapons disposal procedures. No testing of SCP-#### is currently allowed.
Description: SCP-#### is a home manufactured open bolt submachine gun chambered in .45 acp composed of heat treated steel that fires at a much slower rate than its physical construction would allow, at 600 rounds/min. SCP-#### was recovered at an illegal weapons manufacturing facility in [REDACTED] after reports of a series of violent cult abductions. The manufacturer of SCP-#### is currently unknown.
Subjects shot with SCP-#### will de-manifest for a period lasting 5 to 10 minutes. After this period re-manifested subjects are to be referred to as SCP-####-2. Instances of SCP-####-2 will have the following physiological and psychological changes:
1. A large mass of neural tissue located near the bottom of the cerebellum
2. Increased bone density
3. A small physical scaring located on the lower abdomen appearing to read MLB (hypothesized to be a reference to the inventor of the flintlock musket, Marin le Bourgeoys)
4. The deterioration of the frontal lobe
5. Increase aggressiveness and severe obsessive tendencies
Most instances of SCP-####-2 will gain an extensive knowledge on the use and manufacturing of firearms and black powder weapons. All instances of SCP-####-2 are able to create a functioning duplication of SCP-#### as well as ammunition from any materials available despite a lack of tools. Copies of SCP-#### are to be labeled as SCP-####-3. If a non affected subject is presented to an instance of SCP-####-2, they will attempt to create another instance of SCP-####-2 using SCP-####-3.
Instances of SCP-####-2 will congregate and begin to form a small community they refer to as “The Warriors”. The simplistic social nature of affected individuals leads to a lack of organization of the communities. While arguments may occur, no observed instances have shown to engage in physical violence with each other. Communities are extremely hostile to outside interference and will use force to adopt more members. No communities consisting of instances of SCP-####-2 are permitted to propagate.
