Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4985 is to be kept in in its power-dampening cubicle, SCP-4065 at all times. Any personnel who are to monitor its activity must not make any physical contact with SCP-4985-1 in case of provoking SCP-4985. Any instances of SCP-4985-1 are to be apprehended by D-class personnel and thereby disposed of.

Description: SCP-4985 is a humanoid creature measuring about 2.13 meters in height. SCP-4985 appears to be wearing a tuxedo and dress pants, as well as black leather shoes. The entity appears to have pale skin¹ SCP-4985 seems to have a clock where a normal human would have a face, and the subject makes audible ticking sounds similar to a clock. Subject is currently contained in Cell 25-A and can be effectively kept there by using SCP-4065 a power dampening cubicle on setting 10. SCP-4985 is also extremely resistant if not immune to all damage done towards it. SCP-4985 is also intangible, possibly due to the fact that it may only be present in a different timeline.

It can also be noted subject remains completely motionless, devoid of any activity besides its constant ticking, until a sentient being touches an occurrence of SCP-4985-1, at which point it shall be referred to as SCP-4985-2. SCP-4985 is then shown to travel to the location of SCP-4985-2 and its appearance rapidly changes in a matter of seconds. The clock on its face cracks open to reveal a large mouth with sharp teeth and its hands sprout claws. (These changes are only perceived by the victim, who is pulled into the same timeline as SCP-4985) Both SCP-4985 and SCP-4895-2 disappear and it is inferred that SCP-4985 feeds on SCP-4985-2. Instances of SCP-4985-2 that are recovered by [DATA EXPUNGED] appear to have bite and claw marks covering their bodies, and sometimes appear to have an instance of SCP-4985-1 in the near vicinity.

Occurrences of SCP-4985 appear to be pocket watches of varying size or shape, with no other distinguishable features. When confronted with SCP-4985, subjects show an extreme desire to touch it, and seem to be hypnotized by it until they get about 20 feet away from it, at which point they revert back to their normal mental state. SCP-4985 appears to be docile towards anyone who has not touched SCP-4985-1. This may be because it exists in a different time frame, and it preys on sentient beings via SCP-4985-1 which allows it to access this one. Due to its highly unknown powers over time, it has been classified Keter until it is further researched.

Addendum 4985-B Session 2: The following audio log was transcribed from an experiment conducted by Dr. Michael on D-1732 a convicted arsonist.

Dr. Michael: Ok, Mr.[REDACTED] you may now step into the cell.

(D-1732 walking inside)

Dr. Michael: Now, what do you see inside?

D-1732: It's empty… Well, there's a pocket watch on the floor, but nothing else.

Dr. Michael: I want you to walk towards the pocket watch, and describe it to me.

D-1732: It's…beautiful…I want it. Now.

(D-1732 slowly moves towards the pocket watch)

D-1732: So pretty…but it's his². He won't like this…No, I can't

(D-1732 picks up the pocket watch, and it disappears)

(SCP-4985-2 seems to have left its trance)

SCP-4985-2: What's going on? Doc, talk to me! Doc?

(A loud, rapid ticking noise is heard)

SCP-4985-2: What's going on, Doc?

(SCP-4985 is now present in the cell with SCP-4985-2)

SCP-4985-2: Shit! What is that thing?! what the fu-

(SCP-4985 and SCP-4985-2 disappear at this point, and the audio log cuts out)

About six hours later [REDACTED] recovered a mangled body of what was presumed to be SCP-4985-2 in SCP-4985's cell as well as SCP-4985 in its normal state.]

Dr. Michael: Could you share the details of your experience?

Interviewee: (coughing) I suppose…I don't remember much of it, but here's what I do remember in order. Me and the rest of my squad were doing our maintenence of 4985, when I accidentally stepped on a small pocket watch, and it was like I was paralyzed, and then 4985 was there too but with its clock broken and then the fucker touched me and I was gone, and all I remember from that point on is the pain… (subject pauses, surveying his wounds) And then the extraction team found me, and I blacked out.

Dr. Michael: could you draw me a picture of the entity?

(Interviewee picks up clipboard and pen that Dr. Michael hands to him)

(Intermittent scratching sounds as Interviewee draws a rough sketch of SCP-4985 in both states.)

Interviewee: This is what it looked like, from what I could see of it. (coughs)

Dr. Michael: That's all. Thank you, Mr. [DATA EXPUNGED] that's all.

Interviewee expired a week after the interview, due to a pierced lung, and a fractured spine.
