BetaRayquaza

First Idea: Titan Phoenix

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 40m x 40m x 40m containment cell at Site-19. The cell is to be kept under ███℃ in order to keep the entity in a "powered down" state. The cell is to be outfitted with specialized fire prevention systems that utilize [REDACTED] in the event of a containment breach. Under no circumstances should direct sunlight be introduced into the containment cell lest it entering an active state. Should it do so, the fire prevention systems in the cell are to be activated and in the event that it breaches containment, either MTF-Lambda-4 or MTF-Epsilon-14 is to be deployed. Any agent that is to engage SCP-XXXX is to be equipped with flame-retardant suits and modified fire-fighting equipment.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a massive avian organism with characteristics from the Order Falconiformes1 that draws power from sunlight. It utilizes absorbed sunlight to create plasma which it uses as fuel to maintain an active state. This plasma is stored in special flame sacs near the wing joints. When there is sufficient enough plasma stored, or it is in direct sunlight no matter how minimal, it will be in an active state. While in an active state, its body is cloaked in flame, and a plume, wing feathers, and tail composed of fire become present. It can also breathe intense fire that burns at a maximum of ████℃. It has also shown to be able to carry objects that weigh an average of 1 Ton but [REDACTED]. When it is not in direct sunlight and has exhausted its plasma reserves, it enters a "powered down" state. While in this state, it cannot utilize its pyrokinetic abilities or move. It is highly vulnerable in this state and can be forced to enter and remain in this state through extended or repeated exposure to freezing temperatures.

Second Idea: A Harmless Dracotype

Item #: SCP-XXXX-J

Object Class: Safe Euclid Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-J is to be kept in a basic containment cell at Site 73 with minimal security Tungsten containment cell at Site-45 under constant strict surveillance. Following Test XXXX-J-A, D-Class Personnel are not to be used during tests with SCP-XXXX-J.

Description: SCP-XXXX-J is just a big fire-breathing, flying lizard with no interesting or unique abilities, and as such should be allowed to roam free, and we should do nothing about it. SCP-XXXX-J is a large, winged, reptilian entity commonly referred to as a "Dragon". It has bright red scales and dorsal spikes running down its spine. The entity has shown to be capable of breathing large jets of fire from its mouth. It is immensely powerful and highly resilient. It has also shown to be extremely greedy with slightly sadistic tendencies. It is also capable of speech. Upon further research, SCP-XXXX-J seems to fit the Firedrake2 Archetype. However, upon observation, SCP-XXXX-J appears to have no personality other than the archetypical traits. It cannot utilize originality, or even comprehend it at all. It can even inspire unoriginality in others. However, SCP-XXXX-J seems to have the ability to make humans underestimate it3, making it near impossible to predict, despite being almost the textbook definition of predictable. This effect is particularly effective against weak-minded individuals (See Addendum XXXX-J-2).

Addendum XXXX-J-1: Interview of SCP-XXXX-J

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-J

Interviewer: Dr. █████, assisted by D-89124

Foreword: The purpose of this interview is to try to determine the origins of SCP-XXXX-J.

<Begin Log>

Dr. █████: Hello, XXXX-J, I am Dr. █████.

XXXX-J: Why, yes, yes you are.

Dr. █████: This is no time for sarcasm.

XXXX-J: [REDACTED]?

D-89124: How has this guy [REDACTED]?

XXXX-J: So what do you need?

Dr. █████: We wanted to ask you where you came from XXXX-J…

XXXX-J: I came from a faraway land.

Dr. █████: Yeah, I believe that that is a given… Where SPECIFICALLY are you from.

XxxX-J: I hatched in a very hot cave, the lair of my mother.

Dr. █████: Okay… I am noting-

XXXX-J: Even when I was but a hatchling, I loved gold. Gold was and still is shiny…

<This interruption irritates Dr. █████.>

Dr. █████: Noted, I would like it if you don-

XXXX-J: I loved gold so much that I [REDACTED] from my aunt in order to [REDACTED].

D-89124: Wha- How is THIS guy a Keter?

<Dr. █████ is getting angry by now.>

Dr. █████: Please do not interrupt me! That also means you XXXX-J! If you won't cooper-

XXXX-J: My aunt got so angry that she [REDACTED].

D-89124: Dear god… Your Aunt was a maniac, dude…

<Dr. █████ has had enough.>

Dr. █████: THAT IS ENOUGH XXXX-J, since you weren't cooperative and kept interrupt-

XXXX-J: I took all the rest of her hoard for my-

Dr. █████: THIS INTERVIEW IS OVER!!!

XXXX-J: -self… How rude…

<End Log>

Closing Statement: Review of the interview shows that the "backstory" that SCP-XXXX-J gave was very basic. Dr. █████ passed this interview off as unsuccessful and subsequently ranted angrily about XXXX-J on a private document. He has not yet released this document.

Addendum XXXX-J-2: Test XXXX-J-A
Flame Test- ██/██/20██

Subject: SCP-XXXX-J
Procedure: A D-Class is to enter SCP-XXXX-Js containment cell equipped with a flame-proof suit and provoke XXXX-J into using its flame breath in order to measure the flame temperature. The temperature is to be measured by a thermal camera in a safe location.
Results: D-█████ was provided with the Flame-Proof suit, but neglected to wear it stating "He is just a harmless flying lizard, how bad can he possibly be?" When it was brought up that XXXX-J could breathe fire, and that that suit would protect him from the flames. D-█████ assured Dr. █████ that "The flames would not cause that much damage." D-█████ entered the containment cell and upon seeing XXXX-J, asked "How is this guy so-" Before he could finish, XXXX-J unleashed a jet of fire upon him. Measurements were successful, coming out to a temperature of ████℃. D-█████ was incinerated tragically.
Analysis: This guy is seriously messed up, D-█████ did not even have to provoke him, he just straight up torched him. But still, D-█████ neglected the protective gear, simply because he underestimated XXXX-J. Maybe D-Class aren't the best choices for testing with this SCP. D-█████ seemed to be quite weak-minded, and that was what likely contributed to his demise.

Third Idea: Another Dragon
Concept: A Dragon that messes with sound can mess with molecular energy, and changes color depending on mood.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

Description: SCP-XXXX is a medium-sized winged reptile commonly referred to as a "Dragon". XXXX has the ability to modify molecular energy. It can add or remove energy to/from any molecule.
